This dealership is professional, has a solid process to ensure quality and tries not to annoy you. Charles is the salesman you should deal with exclusively. Charles is very knowledgeable, does not waste your time and makes very sure you fully understand the cars capabilities, what’s included and what is not. I have always driven either Jaguars or Hondas, but I’m very impressed with KIA now. Again, I can’t stress enough, that you should deal exclusively with Charles for a common sense, fair and efficient lease or purchase of the correct model.

Everyone was friendly and helpful.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. When I was trying to finalize my loan, it was very difficult to get thru to the Finance Department. I was on hold over an hour and was disconnected twice.

I have had experience with other Kia dealerships and none
I have had experience with other Kia dealerships and none compare with Kia of Port Charlotte. The waiting area is exceptional and the service is excellent. The Service Advisors keep you up to date regarding your vehicle service. Highly recommend this dealership.

My experience with this dealership has been horrible!
My experience with this dealership has been horrible! It started out with a call to the dealership to explain what I was looking to do since it would take me an hour to get there and I didn't want to make that drive for nothing. I told the gentleman on the phone that I had a truck with only 4360 miles on it and was looking to trade it for a car. I was told that they didn't have too many trucks on the lot and they would be willing to deal for it. I was also told that they had a promotion going where they would pay you $8000 over book value for your trade. I didn't really think would happen but would have to wait and see. I then set up an appointment to go there. Upon arrival I was told that the salesmen I was to work with was not even there so the needed to get someone else to work with me. As he was finding out what car i was looking for he pointed out a sign that was on the table telling me how they cared about the customers and every car the sold got this extended warranty. After getting the informant about the truck and the car I was looking to buy he left to get my offer. We sat for quite a while waiting for him to come back. When he came back with the offer I couldn't believe what I was seeing!!! They wanted me to pay half of what they were asking for the car plus give them the truck! They carfax I brought with me said that the trade in value of truck was $3000 more than they were asking for the car so how could they even think that i would go for the deal! I was greatly insulted that they thought i would go for that. Maybe since I am an old lady they thought they could get me to take that deal. After telling the salesman that there was no way I would do that and that wasn't even close to something i would do he left to see if he could do better and came back with another guy. At that point I should of left but I just wanted to see what they would come back with. The next offer was about half of the 1st one. Then I looked at the offer to see how they even came up with the figure and saw that there was a charge for over $3000 for that extended warranty! I told them that I did not want that since I only drive about a 1000 miles a year but was told that they added that to all the cars. At this point I knew that I didn't want to deal with these crooks so I asked for my keys back which they had taken so they could drive my truck for them to inspect. I go to my truck to wait for him to bring me back my keys and he doesn't come out for a long time and when he does come out he doesn't have my keys and keeps asking what he can do to get this deal done. I tell him that I am ready to leave and to please go get my keys. So I wait longer and here he comes with another guy. This is the sales manager I think and he tells me how he is giving me a great deal and that he would be losing money but he wants to see me have the car that I wanted. Well this conversation when on for about 10 minutes with him telling me he did all this research and I would not get a better deal anywhere else. During this time I asked for my keys back at least four times! I have never written a bad review but I wanted to warn others how they do business and telling them to look over the contact carefully and don't give them your keys to your trade in! I have never been treated like this at a dealership so my advise is to stay AWAY FROM THEM !!!

Our experience with Kia was highly successful.
Our experience with Kia was highly successful. Initially, we were somewhat apprehensive when we visited to inquire about two cars we had seen online, and the sales team informed us that one of them had been sold and was no longer in stock. However, by the end of our visit, we ultimately ended up purchasing the very car that we were initially told was sold. As a result, our expectations underwent a significant shift from the beginning to the end of our visit, due to the conflicting information provided. Although we do not appreciate being misled, we are ultimately 100% pleased and grateful that we were able to negotiate a purchase that met our requirements, including the monthly payment amount we were seeking. At the end of the day, we expect 100% honesty and transparency, and we appreciate that you were willing to work with us to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome, despite the initial miscommunication.

Watch out for ridiculous fees!
Watch out for ridiculous fees!! Be ready for them to add to the advertised price $3,800 in reconditioning fees and 2,500 in dealer fees. The sales manager blatantly admitted that they advertise a good price online just to get you in the door and then they hit you with $6,300 in fees. That’s not including tax and tags.

Not very happy right now.
Not very happy right now. Unable to speak with salesperson or general manager. When you call you stay on hold forever and no one answers. If you press sales or service , you can get someone, but the message being left isn't being returned They still haven' t returned my calls and solved the issue after 13 days. . Spent $140,000 in one day on 2 cars and now they will not do as promised tp provide extra key which they misplaced. so disappointed. Perhaps the dealership is too big to pay attention to details. Shelton my salesman was fine, his name is not even updated on your list to evaluate. Attention to detail is important. Sad.

This dealership maintains a high review rate because they
This dealership maintains a high review rate because they do something called "second delivery". This dealership will not give you the 2nd key to a brand new vehicle on the day of purchase. They make you come back a week later. When you come back they will fill out the survey that was sent to you. You are not shown what is on the survey it is just filled out on your device. You are specifically told through text not to open the survey. I traded in a vehicle that i knew i had negative equity on. Upon checking dealership reviews i decided to reach out to kia since they had an "up tp $5000 more" on a trade in if you purchases a new vehicle . This was not real and i was told the dealership will be taking a loss because they just needed to move the car. I spent over 5 1/2 hours to purchase the vehicle. The price of the car online was $35,500.00 , sticker price $41,155.00 and the price the vehicle was sold to me was $43,099.00 . Now this vehicle was on the website as a manager special because it had over 30 days on the lot. When asked about the online offer i was told that i need to read the fine print those are marketing ads to get people through the door and no one is really eligible. Long story short after 5 hours we finally get in the office with the finance manager. Ive purchased many vehicles and every single time the loan is structured. Your are told the rate, term, monthly pay, down payment etc. Non of this was done and we went straight to signing. The finance manager rushed through everything except the warranty which he wanted to sell to me because it was something i "needed". I declined and he stated that the 48 month wear anbd tear of $750.00 was on the house. When i asked him why it was on my paperwork he said i will update it on the system. We continue to go through signing and i realized the lease agreement stated 10,000 miles a year and not 12,000 but that it didnt matter the miles i put on the car if i traded it in with them they would make the charges for the extrta miles dissapear. He said that is what was given to him and if he changed that it would need to change the monthly payment to the vehicle. I told him to cancel the deal and he told me to sign it and he would change it on the back end. I told him to cancel that this was becoming too much of a hassle. While im outside waiting for the key to my tradein all of a sudden they can fix it immediately. I start reading through the paperwork and question him on the price of the vehicle being over MSRP and he said thats so the bank can take the loan but i wasnt paying that amount. When putting the down payment i asked him why the price of the loan was $680 and not $660. He said he could fix it. I asked him why dont we just do the original deal at $700 and no down payment . He said he could fix that with the manager that closed the deal the next day because it would need to be approved. I told him i would mind using the down payment as additinal payments on the lease. After 5 1/2 hours i decided to close on the deal because the finance manager only had 3 weeks at this location and would just fix it like he said. 06/19 I bring in my paperwork and ask to speak to the finance manager and they tell me he has been fired. At this point i knew nothing i spoke to him about would matter. I asked the sales person Austin about the down payment and $5000.00 in dealerfees i was charged when supposibly they took a loss. I was told that all sales get charged $5000.00 in dealer fees. I was taken into an office with a different finance manager and he basically told me unfortunately thats what i signed for and he could see if i theyu could gift me 1 or 2 free oil changes. I declined the free oil changes as this is the last transaction i want with this dealership. After calculating with Kia my trade in was taken in for $7000.00 . i gave away $1000.00 in downpayments. All in all im paying $55,000.00 for a car that was a manager special at $35,500.00. Review shortened
