Service department very accommodating

Service department very accommodating. On the morning of my service appointment, my vehicle wouldn't start. I called Northtown to tell them I'd be late, little expecting I'd be two hours late. When I finally arrived, I was promptly greeted and, while I waited, my car was serviced. I can't say enough about how well I was treated.

I was extremely unhappy with the service.

Upon taking my car to Northtown, the technicians were very unhelpful. I was extremely unhappy with the service. I was told my car was fine after explaining it had been having issues for about two weeks with starting up and certain lights were on my dash (engine,oil, etc). So I took the car home and it is having the same issue yet again. My car is brand new (I got it in August of 2014 and it has less than 4,000 miles on it). I didn't get a new car for it to be in the shop every couple of days. Not to mention that the dealership was unable to help me get a rental which is just ridiculous at this point. I will not continue to be a northtown customer after this experience. I simply cannot wait for my lease to be over. I usually would not leave a bad review but this is honestly ridiculous and I am frustrated. Especially when I'm told there is nothing they can do about the issue and my car is fine- only to have the issue repeat itself shortly upon leaving the dealership. My family has multiple cars from Northtown and I assure you- this will be the last.

This was a terrible experience

This was a terrible experience. I made an appointment for a simple oil change. I arrived early and while my name was on the appointment board, no one could find my paperwork. The oil change was scheduled to take an hour. 45 minutes in, the service advisor came out and suggested caliper service to extend my brake life. He said it would only take an additional 30 minutes. More than an hour and a half after that, my car was finally ready. It took 15 minutes from my car being taken out of the garage into the lot for the service advisor to come get me. When I arrived to cash out I noticed the caliper service was not on the service order and questioned if it had been done. I was told to return to the waiting room and it took another 20-30 minutes to get the paperwork corrected. When the service advisor came back, the paperwork was still wrong because the coupon for the oil change I had presented up front had not been applied. The service advisor had no memory of the coupon despite it being stapled to the paperwork. In all, a service visit that should have taken 60-90 minutes took 3 hours! There was no communication on the timeline and my name wasn't even on the status board in the waiting area. The advisor was polite and friendly but the whole operation seemed grossly unorganized. I don't plan on bringing my vehicle back for future service and will likely look to other area dealers for my next Mazda.

Communication is awful

Knowledge of offered products is lacking. Communication is awful. Quality is terrible as well. This was a horrible experience and I do not plan to ever have to deal with it agai

The service department is excellent.

The service department is excellent. Very customer service oriented. They bend over backward for their customers. They are a selling point for continuing to buy cars from the dealership. Its a true pleasure.
