Great Service
I had gotten a rejection sticker on my state inspection at another auto repair shop and took my car in to Hall to get the problem fixed. I was also having a problem with my a/c cooling. My service team at Hall checked everything out and determined the problems. I left the Hall Service center with my new state inspection sticker and my a/c cooling. The concern they showed to me, a senior citizen, is greatly appreciated.

Great Service Department
Was leaving virginia beach to head back to ohio, when i noticed that my car was vibrating when accelerating. Lights on my dash came on, so i immediately went to the closest dealership. When I pulled in I was met by Todd White on the gold team. I told him I was on my way out of town and what had happened. Todd got in the car checked it out and immediately had it taken back to the mechanics. 2 hours later I was on the road without a hiccup. He explained exactly what I needed and got it done as fast as possible. Todd was so nice and so sweet and even looks like Clark Kent. He definitely was my superman that day. Thank you so much Todd and keep up the good work.

Guess I was the wrong color
I was shopping for a new or used grand caravan and started on cars.com. found hall and saw several vans advertised for $18,600 as an internet price. this was the price i was finding for used models with 30,000 miles and little warranty. so i called hall dodge and spoke with stanley who assured me the price was accurate and that he would see to it that i would walk out the door with this base price. i live quite a distance away, so the trip took me close to an hour to make. when i first met stanley i had a bad feeling that he wasn't going to help me at all. you know what they say about gut feelings. sadly, while stanley was polite, i was treated poorly. after asking me questions to see if i qualified for the discounts offered, he told me i would not be able to get the car for the advertised price. when i asked why, he turned the computer screen to me and said, "Most people just look at the internet price and don't read this"--pointing to the paragraph on the bottom of fine print listing the qualifiers--military etc. i did not appreciate the look on his face or the tone of his voice to say nothing of being schooled by a salesman. i actually had read the qualifiers before calling and expected the salesman to confirm that they didn't apply before assuring me of the price. perhaps he could have mentioned these before assuring me he could get me out the door w 18,600 base. i then asked him to give me the bottom line out the door price. i mentioned out the door three times. told him i did not have time for back and forth between me and the manager and could he just get me his best price. he returned about five minutes later with two prices, both $22,000+ and mentioned that these prices did not include taxes, title, prep etc. so, in your face. fine. i won't buy there. what stanley did not know is that i was prepared to buy today as i was shopping for my son who is buying a van for his wife as a surprise-come-home-from-the hospital-with-the-nw-baby gift and is prepared to pay cash. baby is due in two weeks.

Bad "certified preowned" vehicle.
Let me just say that my salesman, Gino, was very professional and helpful. The problem is that I purchased a "certified preowned" Jeep Grand Cherokee and had the bosses in the finance department shove down my throat how clean the vehicle was and all the work they did to get it in great condition. Their "certified preowned" vehicles come with a 30-day warranty but that ONLY covers the power train. 8 days after I drove off the lot I had all types of electrical problems with the windows, door locks, etc. So 8 days after I bought the vehicle I had to put it in their shop and had I not purchased their full warranty, would have had to pay out of pocket - I expressed my displeasure and their was nothing they could do - still had to pay my deductible to get everything fixed. If you purchase a "certified preowned", you had BETTER get the big warranty that covers another 3 years/36,000 miles.

Active duty military after spending 3 years over seas came back and excited to buy a new car. The problem is after dealing with Hall Chrysler I never want to go through that experience again. After there blatant disrespect and disregard to customer service I don't think anybody would. Seconds after the purchase of my car I was immediately neglected and disregarded. Questions about my purchased car went unanswered, promises made were broken and had a poor explanation on why they were not fulfilled. After paying for my car it took 4 business days for them to let me see and receive my car. That was just the tip of the iceberg. After receiving my car it was not in "new car" condition. 2 weeks after my purchase I noticed several glaring issues. I brought the car in to the service center for the issues to be examined and taken care of. Service advisor was rude and demeaning. After admitting that there might be a problem but not able to locate the specific problem I was told I had 3 years and 36,000 miles to figure it out. To my understanding when you purchase a "brand new car" you should have the high expectations that it will look and sound new(4 days after the bringing the car into the shop and dealing with all the hassle that was involved they finally admitted that they found the issue. What kind of dealership let's you take a new car home with problems?) I had problems with the upholstery in which he stated I should cover it up no one will see it. Makes you wonder what else the dealership is "covering up". I took this issue up with the service manager in which he replied "you are being an emotional little mess". I emailed the GM of hall in which he made no attempt to respond. Doesn't surprise me that every part of this company has been disrespectful and demeaning throughout this entire process. To me this shows a reflection of the top leadership and how they want to run there business. This is why I strongly recommend that consumers take there business else where and not have to go through this nightmare.

So easy.......
Went in knowing what we were looking for, unfortunately they didn't have anything on their lot. Next day I got a call from Pete who tracked down info on a similar vehicle...great deal, buying process was easy (long tho) and we had the car the next day! We had a minor issue a few days later and called, and Pete and Todd (in service) went out of their way to handle things for us. Even went above taking care of what was needed. I'm looking for my next car there....

Great buying experience
I purchased a new Dodge Journey from Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. I must say that the staff at this dealership made my car buying experience a very positive one. Customer Service was of excellence. The staff was very courteous and responded well to our needs and wants when it came to helping us select and purchase our vehicle. The buying process was excellent as well. It was done with ease once we made a decision on the vehicle to purchase. Understanding we had time constraints, the staff was sure to not waist our time with lots of waiting around. They were very prompt in completing their work in the buying process while at the same time making sure that customer service was not compromised in any way, always very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership if you are looking for a wonderful car buying experience!!! It is by far the best experience we have had buying a car! Buying a Jeep at Hall Automotive
I recently purchased a Jeep Wrangler at Hall Automotive. Price was good. Purchasing process was very slow and they will try to sell you multiple extended warranties, exterior finish protections, tire insurance etc. My biggest complaint is that the sales person informed that one of the other salesman wanted to purcahse my trade in for more than the dealer offered in the trade. I chose not to trade in the car and other salesman saw and drove my car, told me he was interested and has not conatacted me back despite multiple efforts on by me. I consider this somewhat unethical and would not purcahse another vehicle from Hall's due this.

Service Department
I went to Hall to have a second opinion done on an estimate that was given to me by another local repair shop. It turned out that the repairs deemed necessary by the other local shop were not necessary at this time. Saving me a lot of money. Olivia , the Service Advisor, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and I would consider using Hall Chrysler to repair my car in the future.

Curtis was an awesome salesman!
We went in and met Curtis, our salesman, and told him what we were looking for. We were very specific about colors and features. He told us he would check their inventory and get back to us and he did. We met a day or so later and he showed us a couple of vehicles that were just what we were looking for. No more, no less. Then we test drove and chose the one we liked. He did not waste our time. This is the third vehicle we have bought from the dealership and he was the best salesman we have ever had.
