The staff made the process of buying/leasing a new car pain free. From the time I walked in the front door to actual delivery of the car time was taken to explain in detail all the options available. There was no "high pressure" salesmanship!

Never buy from there
I purchased a 2014 Mazda CX-9 a month ago and I called to set up an appointment to come into the dealership to apply and get the vehicle I wanted. I took a picture of the vehicle and price then I get there it took several hours I was told they had to adjust the price to help me out to get the loan. I asked who my loan was through and I was told I would receive everything in the mail. It took a month. I called the loan server and asked the details of the loan and I am being charged thousands over what I was supposed to. Not to mention I was charged for an after market item that I did not get. I have left messages and I’ve emailed the salesperson but no response. I had a response from an employee but you looked up the wrong name. The correct name is on here now and I would appreciate a call back to discuss this matter. I went to the dealership in Waynesboro Pa. my salesman was Johnny Lewis Preacher.

Worst experience ever!
I was lied to by numerous ppl from the used car lot! After explaining my situation, I am a combat Veteran who has recently lost his job and vehicle and I'm currently in a VA home in Martinsburg and recently was offered a very good paying job as long as I had transportation! Well they told me I needed no down payment they have a no down payment plan, all I needed was 3 things which I took with me when I went! All this after I vigorously asked and made sure that if I come up there with all this and no money I would leave with a vehicle because if I didn't I would be very upset! Walked in and within 5 minutes of being there was told "the bank" needs $3000 down today in order for me to get a vehicle! No bank replies that quick and no bank writes $3000 on a piece of paper in ink and tries to get the commission off a combat Veteran that they lied to and drove an hr to get there! Mind you a government worker used a government vehicle and government time to bring me down there for them to try and scam a combat Veteran! They are crooks and probably gonna keep doing it! ANDY AND IRA WERE THE EMPLOYEES THAT GOT ME DOWN THERE SO DONT TRUST THEM! AND NOT TO MENTION THEY BLOCKED ME FROM COMMENTING ON THEIR POSTS ON FACEBOOK CAUSE THEY KNOW THEY WERE WRONG! AND AFTER I GOT UPSET ASKED ME TO LEAVE! NOT VETERAN FRIENDLY WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM TO MY ENEMY!

Truck
Very terrible I drove over an hour way to pick up this truck. They confirmed my appointment that day, got there and told me they sold it yesterday. They didn’t even apologize or offer me gas money from running out there on their screw up

Grand Caravan STX
I tried to finance a new 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT, but I'm very annoyed, we tried to contact the seller MICHAEL SAVANI, my wife passed the messages to him of what we wanted to do, but he simply ignored the messages and did everything we did not ask for, I I live in Georgia and wanted to finance the car, but they did not leave me alternatives for this, Meirielly Becca and I are disappointed, I would like to not be because we are immigrants and often do not speak English very well, but we have excellent credit, and we have friends who would help us with English, but in this store was impossible, I leave here my disappointment.

Hello Silvio, My name is Kayla. I am a manager at Buchanan. I would first like to thank you for choosing to do business with us even though you live so far away, that means a great deal to us. I would also like to let you know that our process throughout the customer experience is to leave each and every customer happy and satisfied with not only their purchase but with the level of customer service they receive as well. Please give me a call at 717-360-4506 to tell me about your experience so that we can take the appropriate actions to prevent this from happening again in the future and to make things right with you and your wife so you can both experience Buchanan as we strive for each and every one of our customers to.
Horrible. Never again.
Traded my Jeep in for another Jeep. Different body style. And had it less then 3 days the transmission went out. Took them 2 weeks to get a new one and fix it. Kept calling to get run around after run around with no answers. Get it back, didn’t even put the exhaust back on right, had an exhaust leak and left a hanger off. Fixed it myself. To top that off it’s been a month and a half and they still haven’t paid the car I traded in off. It’s about to affect my credit score. No communication whatsoever between anybody in that place. Horrible. Do not buy/trade with them.

All the negative reviews were true
Upon looking for, and finding a rather promising used vehicle at the Buchanan dealership, I decided to call the salesman and see if the dealership negotiated. The sales representative explained that everything was negotiable at Buchanan and asked what I had in mind. When I told him what I was offering for the vehicle, he explained that he needed to talk with his manager and get back to me--which he did in good order. I was told the manager would not approve my deal, and I kindly proceeded to bid the salesman a good day. However, after several minutes of tongue rattling, the salesman said, and I quote "right now you're just a voice over the phone. However, if you come in and show REAL interest we can work a deal out." I explained what I was willing to pay, and I said I would go no further. He said that's fine, just come on down. I said that I would only come down (a 45-minute drive for me) if this would not be a waste of my time, gas and effort. He reassured me that it would not be, and so I agreed to drive down. After driving 45 minutes and wasting my valuable time and gas, it turns out that it was nothing more than an utter and absolute waste of my time. Buchanan never had any attention of giving me the deal and they knew it all along; however, they still lied to get me in the door, and blatantly wasted my time. My question is why? I wasn't going to budge on my offer--and they knew it well in advance, but they still wasted my time. I know that this was all a ploy to get me in the door, but is that really Buchanan's business policy? I have been to other dealships around the area, and none have been so blatant about messing their customers around. When I called around before Buchanan and asked if places negotiated their prices, most simply said no and that was that. So if Buchanan had no intention of negotiating with me, why mess with your customer and make them angry? This simply must be the way this place does business, and I implore nobody to go to this dealship unless they like being messed around with.
