Above and Beyond Customer Service

I don't write many reviews but my recent experience at Bob Allen Ford in Overland Park was exceptional! The Service Manager, Jonathan Pankrez, went out of his way to help in getting my Ford Fusion fixed within a couple of hours of my call for assistance. He not only immediately knew what the issue was, but stayed at the dealership on his personal time and waited for my car arrive. My car was fixed and back on the road ASAP. He went above and beyond my expectations and I HIGHLY recommend Bob Allen Ford - Jonathan made a believer out of me that extremely high customer service is still out there! Thanks for a very suburb experience.

Outstanding service

Excellent service department and very friendly staff. I've been here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. They keep me updated throughout the process when fixing issues and I'm never surprised with unexpected repairs. Shane, JP, and Josh in the service department are awesome and I would highly recommend them.

An Amazing Dealership

I live in Pensacola, Florida and bought a Ford Mustang Convertible on the internet. The salesman I talked to is Michael Klaus. An amazing young man whom is mature beyond his years, very friendly and knowledgeable. He described the car to me as he walked around it and when I got there I noticed that it was even nicer than I had expected. I have worked in several dealerships over a period of more Fifty years and this is the most amazing dealership I have ever seen. Clean and laid out perfectly. Every employee I talked to was kind and friendly. It was a great buying experience and I compliment the owner for putting together a great crew. I bought the car and flew up to get it and I had a very fun ride back to Florida. Than you very much.

Great service!

Always a great visit and good quality work at Bob Allen. My Ford is very reliable and hasn’t needed more than routine work, but no matter the work they always do a great job.

Will never recommend

Dec 29th Traveled 2 hours to this dealership to look at trading into an F-250. Explained to them the issues I had with another dealership undercutting the value of my vehicle (by $6,000 by saying it was clean and offering me rough trade) at first at $12,500 and after using NADA offering me rough value of $15,500. Both Michael and Tim said my trade was clean both before and after their test drive. We looked into financing through them due to my bank being closed at the time of my arrival but found most other lenders to be closed at that time as well. I was told they would see what they could do and get a hold of me by 10AM the following day Monday (Dec 31) to discuss trade value (REMEMBER THIS) Dec 31st I recieved no call at 10AM. I emailed Mikael at 12PM asking if he had heard anything from any of their banks, but recieved no answer. I followed up at 1 and finally 2 which I talked to Tim who explained that they were waiting on one other bank to reply and that I should hear back by 2:30PM. At 5PM I recieved a call from Mikael explaining that they were having trouble finding a bank to finance through due to my negative equity. Mikael explained that my trade value was $14,000 (once again under rough trade value). I reminded Mikael that I was already preapproved through Advancial Bank and that that didn't matter because I wasn't trading in my truck for under what it was worth. Mikael told me that "everyone has their opinions as to what it's worth and the internet isnt always accurate" and that "you gotta give what you can and still be able to profit". Mikael also had the nerve to tell me that they thought my the bank my preapproved loan was through was a scam because they had never heard of it. I will not return nor will/would I recommend this dealership to anyone. See pictures in comments. I went there and even agreed to pay asking price for their vehicle but they would not give me fair trade on my vehicle.

Ask Johnathon Pankrez to be assigned your service advisor

Johnathon Pankrez, is the best service advisor we've ever had the experience to be assigned to. When my daughter & her car was getting an education in Corpus she called me & said she had a flat & I told her to call Johnathon & he advised her that her new car had a tire warranty so instead of paying $250.00 for a new tire she only paid the deductible of $70.00, Recently the transmission began to mess up & we called our trusted Johnathon only to discover he had relocated to Bob Allen in Overland Park, Kansas but even though he's a 542 miles away, he came through for us. If you choose to purchase your vehicle at Bob Allen aim for Johnathon Pankrez to be your advisor.

What a great place!

My Mom bought a new Ford there. There was some confusion on the paperwork. I emailed Brad Hewlett and he fixed it in a couple hours. We got a great price and exactly the deal we wanted.

Service SUCKS!

Professionalism is out the window in the service department. The way they talk to the customers is unacceptable. Rude and no class AT ALL! They talk to you as if your bothering them. Had to repeat several times what i was there for and the reaction i got was go stand over there! Like im a child.... Uncalled for! 2 thumbs down

No parts for a scheduled repair?

How does a dealer schedule repairs for a vehicle but not have parts? Ok maybe you ran out of parts, but you had me take the day off and drive to the dealership to hear, sorry we don't have the parts. No phone call??? We scheduled an appointment a week ahead. When I asked why no one called me to cancel, they said they planned to do part of the work and then have me take off another day to finish. disingenuous and unprofessional.

Quick service!

I was able to come in with out an appointment and they were able to change my battery and get me back on the road in an hour! Very pleased. The price seemed reasonable too!
