Car buying EASY!
Best experience in purchasing vehicle we have had. What else needs to be said! NOTHING! Clayton made us feel like he knew us from the start and never treated us like a customer (we were comfortable from the start). Customer relations was outstanding. I would send my friends to see him if they were looking for a new or used vehicle.

Beware of Lifetime Warranty - Deceptive
Concerns I have with the deceptive Lifetime Warranty: - Even if all factory scheduled maintenance is done at Olathe Toyota if you are off a little on the mileage between oil changes, the 3rd party will deny your claim. - The Olathe Toyota Service Department is not aware of which vehicles are covered by the Lifetime Warranty. You have to tell them on each visit. - The Olathe Toyota Service Department is not trained on which repairs are covered by the Lifetime Warranty. You have to ask them on each repair before authorizing a repair. I have purchased three new cars from Olathe Toyota including doing all my maintenance there and overall have been satisfied. One of the reasons I buy from this dealership and do all my service there is the included Lifetime Warranty. Its included in all their marketing as well. For the majority of the time I have had really good experiences with the service department. I have found a big issue with the service department not being aware of which customers have the lifetime warranty issued by their own dealership and not sure which repairs would be covered. Recently, I had a 2013 Toyota Sienna with 113,000 miles on it the front left and right axles needed replacement. The service department gave me a quote and I asked if it would be covered by the lifetime warranty, they told me no so I told them to start on the work. I then went and read what was covered in the factory warranty and found it should be covered. I called them back and told them it should be covered and they verified it was a covered item. They submitted all of my service records for work done in their service department. After the repair was complete, I was informed the 3rd party issuer of their Lifetime Warranty was denying the claim because on one occurrence a n oil change was done a little early and the following was done a little late. The service department said they fought my case with the 3rd party and then they said they wanted to inspect the vehicle before authorizing the repair. The service department informed them the repair had already been completed and the claim was denied.

Amazing experience! From Kate in online sales to Jacob in...
Amazing experience! From Kate in online sales to Jacob in sales to Victoria in costumer service to Paul in used cars to John the appraiser and the finance manager, they were all friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and never once made me feel any pressure to buy. Best experience I’ve ever had buying a car. I’d highly recommend this dealership. Hats off the the owner and manager for putting together such a welcoming and efficient staff! Thank you, I’ll be back.

Beware of Lifetime Warranty - Deceptive
What started out as a fantastic experience and customer relationship, turned into a nightmare when I approached the dealer and asked for assistance with utilizing my "lifetime powertrain warranty" to help repair a powertrain issue that happened on my 2015 Toyota Sienna. Unfortunately due to my oil changes being slightly out of sequence (was at 62,000 when I was getting the 60,000 check up), that was grounds for rubber stamping the decline and rejection of my petition for help. Unfortunately after a number of back and forth emails with the service manager asking for assistance, I got the note because "you have serviced with me one time in four years so I really don’t consider you a service customer and even if you were I wouldn’t pay for something that I didn’t create" and that he wasn't interested in helping me to petition (or place a bit more pressure) on the warranty company. Sure I don't do a lot of service with him, but did purchase a $43,000 car from him. But guess that doesn't matter. He went on to say they have no control over this partner or their business practices. They just peddle them as a value-add (which honestly got us to buy from Olathe Toyota vs the competition), but now am totally regretting it and taking my business elsewhere. Hopefully they still might make things right....but am not holding my breath.

Mr. Klein I would like to start by saying I am sorry your Sienna is having a problem. That being said I must defend our very valuable warranty by filling in the information you are leaving out in your review. When you purchased your vehicle you were given a copy of the powertrain warranty that was very specific of what was expected of you to do to maintain your warranty. None of it was in fine print, in fact it is listed in the first paragraph highlighted by bullets so that no one can miss what they are expected to do. You were required to read and sign that you agree to the terms before you left finance. The reason they do this is because it is more likely for things to go wrong with your vehicle if you do not properly maintain it. You were denied on your claim because you didn’t fulfill your contractual obligation on maintaining your Sienna. A 60,000 mile maintenance was NEVER performed and SEVERAL services were performed late beyond the miles as per the Toyota owners maintenance guide. You state that the 60k was late but that isn’t true, it was never performed. This powertrain warranty is very specific on maintaining your vehicle, this is a contract that you signed. What you also fail to mention is Toyota has made a very nice offer to you to help in the repair of a vehicle that is out of warranty. Again we are sorry that your vehicle is having problems but want to make sure that the actual facts behind this review are known as most of our customers have found our warranty to be very valuable and easy to use.
Olathe Toyota....thank you for your note. The only reason Toyota is funding the bulk of the repair is because they agreed your warranty company should be covering this and are stepping in to do what is right and take care of their customers...something it appears you don't do...especially when having to deal with issues tied to your warranty company.. What I don't understand is how your service manager told me i was worthless as a customer (a service customer) because I had only been in one or two times for service, and he didn't think i was a customer. as a marketer i would assume a customer who buys a $43,000 mini-van is worth more to a company than someone who could have spent $600 in oil changes and tire rotations. nonetheless, he is right....i am no longer a customer of olathe toyota.

Life Time Warranty is not worth it. Joke
Lifetime warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on. Third party company which the dealership has no control over. My truck out of no where started burning quart of oil every 600 miles. Told nothing broken so they will not pay to have it fixed. Service department said that it was wrong but they couldn’t help. Buy at your own risk.

Chris Adams
Chris Adams is one of the nicest and most helpful car salesmen I've ever met. He's trustworthy and goes out of his way to try to get things done for the customer. I'll definitely look for him next time I'm looking to buy or lease a vehicle.

Parts Department
I took my 2017 Corolla in for an oil change and tire rotation. Next day notice the tire lock and a wheel cap were missing. Took back was able to get my wheel lock back but not my wheel cap. The wheels were just bought the month before from Chuck Truck. The parts Department was to order one for me. After 2 weeks not hearing anything I called and went up there. They had no idea what I was talking about. Order one than but it's was wrong didn't fit. They were not helpful or even cared. As of today I still have no cap for my wheel. I have bought at least 4 cars from Olathe Toyota but due to the rude and unprofessional people that work there I will never buy another one.

Great service
Micah Kent sold me my car. Fair, honest, painless transaction. Micah Kent later became a service advisor. He has given us perfect service 100% of the time. He gave us his mobile # for text appointments and questions.p In an industry of high turnover we have now a trusted friend. We're loyal to Olathe Toyota because of his superior service, support and dedication to satisfaction..
