Good morning , My name is Patrick Coleman and I am the Director of Operations out here at Jay Wolfe Honda. I wanted to make sure and reach out to you as soon as possible as we take our reviews very seriously. I have attempted to look up your information but unfortunately information comes back to your moms vehicle. I contacted her and received your cell phone number and have attempted to contact you several times. Would you please give me a call at 816-943-3530 so we can discuss the service provided to you and see how we can take care of you and keep you as a returning Jay Wolfe Honda customer.

Bad Customer Service

I had a bad experience in customer service. If you have Chase Harrington as advisor. Be careful and make sure to read the papers before you signed for service. Do not take his parole verbally because he will twisted the words into nightmare. If Chase gives you a total pricing, make sure to request it written down on the paper before signing. Chase will never follow up back with you. You might wait 2 days, he does not care. He is your nightmare!!!

Service department should be avoided

I have had nothing but bad experience with the service department. I went for a basic maintenance not long ago on our Honda 2019 Insight with minimal miles and the bill was $400 and I turned down several suggested items they wanted to add on that would have been more than $200 extra. The most current issue was that apparently squirrels had gone under the car and chewed on most of the electrical harnesses to the engine. The bill is over $5000 and I had checked the price from Ford for the parts and the prices charged were about 1/3 more than Ford charges. When I picked up the car after several weeks for them to repair the car the service person told me the car was all good and no warning lights on the dash. As I drove away I realized that the car had a very bright warning light that said the car needed maintenance. Rather than go back and see what they wanted to do about it, I drove home and reset the maintenance light. The car only has 26000 miles on it and has been serviced at least twice. The service person refused to deal with the insurance company and said I would have to deal them and I just needed to pay for the work and get my money back from the insurance. Both the insurance company and I called the dealership many times and never got a response about the issue. Just bad!!!

Service appointment canceled without notice

I had a prescheduled appointment for car repair. Upon arrival, was told they were too busy to look at my car. They said I'd need to reschedule for the following week. No one had called to advise my appointment had been canceled, and they didn't even apologize.

Great experience purchasing my 2017 Civic Type R!

I had the best car purchase experience at Jay Wolfe! I started working with Russ King when I found out that Honda was bringing the Civic Type R to the United States finally. The release of the car was still months out but Russ put me on his list and updated me with any information he heard about the car. He kept me well informed, knowing how excited I was about this car. I felt like he was as excited for me as I was for the car to be released. This is a limited production car that most dealerships will only receive one or two of. Even knowing this, Russ and Jay Wolfe didn't mark the car's price up like so many other dealerships have done (others marked it up $2k to $20k!). They had higher offers for it than what Russ and I had discussed but he and Jay Wolfe kept to what we had discussed for pricing MSRP plus accessories. Now that's a dealership with integrity! They are a for profit business and it would have been easy for them to have decided to sell it for much more and make more profit, but they didn't. They kept to their word and made a customer for life! If you don't think this is that special, search online for the 2017 Civic Type R and dealer markups. There are plenty of people in a similar situation where at the last minute their dealership marked up the car by thousands of dollars. Thank you Russ and Jay Wolfe for being a solid business with integrity! I will definitely be back again when it's time to replace my wife's Odyssey.

Service -Byron Hughes, Service Advisor

Enjoyable if you have to have service. I was given the estimate for the item that needed immediate repair along with a list and pricing for other services I will need if I want to keep my 2000 Honda Accord up and running. No pressure to do more than what I absolutely had to. So enjoyable to not feel "pressure" to get more service done while it was in. Very appreciated!!
