DO yourself a favor and stay away. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. They did not do proper inspection on delivery of the new vehicle and could have avoided most of the issues from my experience. Regardless they refuse to take ownership of the problems and no longer return calls or voice mails. Get put on hold for 20-30 min waiting to talk to gm or sales mgr and they never pick up. THey were very responsive when I was purchasing a $76,000 vehicle, but now that they got my money things have changed. Was force to deal w/ RAM customer service and another local dealer instead. Literally the worst experience ever buying a vehicle. RUN FAR AWAY!

Spoke to someone at customer service, they were very rude and woulnd't let me even get more than a few words in to explain what was going on. They also said the specific dealer would need to call me, which I attempted to contact them multiple times already, I knew they wouldn't contact me. No surprise, never heard a word from the dealer or from them at customer service. Been a week. Was told it would be no more than a day or 2. Again -save yourself the trouble and do not do business with this place. The absolute WORST group of people.

Terrible service center sold transmission under warranty its been 2 months keep telling us no tech to work on truck . keep telling different stories . Very bad team i will never recommend someone to go there for any reason

My car was seen by Stepen Barber (on the receipt) because it would shut down while running. I was charged $618.08 and was told it was fixed. I had the same problem with the car later. This is a 2006 car that has less then 15,000 miles. I returned the vehicle and was told it couldn't be checked because I had a bad battery and yet it started when I picked it up and the dome light was on in the daytime. They wanted me to buy a new battery that I had replaced 18 months before. I was charged $195.60 for that sevice. After which I had the batt checked by 2 other service centers and was told batt was ok just weak. Since then I had another shop work on the car and fix it. The problem was the fuel pump. Cost me another $600. So, whatever you do don't go to this dealership's sevice department.

Lawrence Griffin is a King!
Wasn't looking for a Jeep. Was actually checking out a Challenger but was vetoed by the head of our house. Lawrence was super flexible and incredibly in tune with the features of every car. A world class consultant. If you come here, go straight to him.

Most of the complaints are in reference to the...
Most of the complaints are in reference to the service/repair department. I made multiple complaints about the service/repair department at DARCARS in Marlow Heights/Suitland. I felt I didn't receive adequate help and that the service department owes me $872.00 because I paid for a replacement feul pump that they recommended I get based on their recommendation and the replacement fuel pump did not repair the car and the check engine light is still on. They further diagnosed the car and determined that the instrument cluster panel is bad however they refused to reimburse me for the fuel pump stating they couldn't back their own recommendation due to the length of time that elapsed. It's against their current business practice to issue refunds.

Terrible customer service and service department, took truck in for mechanical issues...service center said they fixed it, a week later had to get it towed back to dealer for same issue!!!

Darcars of Marlow heights is the worst place to do business ever in the history of cars. You should stay far and away from this nightmare of THE MOST poorly executed sales services ever assembled in the history of mankind. It is rare indeed when you literally feel anger and embarrassment towards the process of buying a car... It isnt about how they make money, Sure you can make poor choices or let things slide...its sales after all..in my case I have bought service contracts from them that they have utterly failed to even activate them after purchase. I have had to contact the BBB on them twice after 3 months just to get the contract I signed honored and processed, and to this date I still do not have those contracts (mopar/ally ect.) activated! Any business that cant stand by their agreements is no place to do business. Its pure lunacy to have to BEG a business to give you what you purchased...Even now I have to get a lawyer to untangle this monstrosity...If you need a car go to Virginia and stay away from any place called DARCARS. If the sign says DARCARS run in the other direction.

Great improvements.
I was suggest having someone at the check in desk to greet people at all times, but otherwise the service has improved exponentially within the past few months. I did not wait long after signing in for service, my paperwork was processed quickly and my car was ready within two hours. I did receive a phone call to let me know my vehicle was ready for pick up. However, when I got there for some reason the young lady at the cashier window said she needed my paper before directing me to the check in area. That didn't seem right so I signed in to make sure I wasn't overlooked. One of the service techs directed me back to the cashier and then I let him know what I was told. My paperwork was available the entire time and this seems to be a common occurrence. I reviewed and signed my paperwork as usual. Then when I left the young lady ran after me because I was given the wrong paperwork. I did not catch her name but if this is normal for her I thought it was worth mentioning so it can be addressed. Otherwise, I had a GREAT experience.
