Being treated as a human beings

I thought I was stranded when my rental car wouldn’t start. Jim got in his car to personally puck me up and drive me to dealership. Rental eventually started but his willingness to help exceeded expectations !

Easy service experience
Stopped in at the end of the day to make an appointment. Ended up having the service done then. Needing extra time, they offered me a free rental overnight so I could get the service finished but still get home for dinner.

My car was in for an oil change. Everything went smoothly and i was able to use a coupon Team Toyota had emailed me. The waiting area is nice and the building is extremely clean.

Transmission in Toyota 4Runner we bought failed in a week
We bought a used Toyota 4Runner with about 130,000 miles on it from Team Toyota of Princeton. The car was sold as is, but we were told that service team had done a throrough inspection of the vehicle. A week later we were driving the car to Colorado when the transmission began to fail in Columbus, OH. The throrough inspection done by Team Toyota did not include checking the transmission fluid. The AAMCO service people where had the car towed told us there was hardly any fluid in the transmission. Fortunately, the transmission was not permanently damaged. At first, the used car manager at Team Toyota indicated that the dealership might be able to cover some of the $500 we had to pay for the transmission work on our week old car. After weeks of following up the manager, he told us that the car was sold as is, so tough luck. I don't plan to buy anything else at this dealership.
