2020 Hyundai Santa Fe was due for an oil change so took it in. Pros: Spoke with Annie who is such a doll, beautiful personality, I could honestly hang with her all day. I’m sure all the customer reps there are nice people. There are TV’s there to watch even though you probably can’t hear it and plenty of seating. Cons: ok maybe I’m a little naive but the price to take a LEASED car in for service is ridiculous. I’m giving this car back and you are charging me xxxx near $300 for oil change, change the filters, tire rotation? And I used a discount I found on their site. I never in my life and I lease cars all the time paid that much for an oil change/service update. The wait was a little too long for my liking 1 1/2 - 2 hours but next time I won’t stay and wait if I even decide to take it back for service here :/

My problem with Hyundai of Paramus centers on their...
My problem with Hyundai of Paramus centers on their service. First, I was randomly assigned with Annie Ramaglia on my first service visit many years ago. She's friendly enough, but her approach - like any decent salesperson - is to make you feel like you're getting a special deal and that she has your best interests at heart. Amazingly, I could go in for a $100 repair and be told nearly every time that I have $1000-$2000 of work needing to be done. Once I caught onto this scam, I found a local mechanic in my town who would do the same work for half the price or less. Don't fall for their phony rhetoric. They overcharge you at every turn. Annie will tell you you're getting a "special" rate in the process. Eventually I tired of this deception, but I still occasionally needed to visit for factory recall issues and so forth. On my last visit, I told them there was something wrong with the electronics (it turned out to be a bad crankshaft angle sensor). After spending $200 with them and getting ZERO information about the problem, I asked Annie if they could somehow reset the electronics, as one might in rebooting a malfunctioning computer. Annie seemed to be angry at the mere question, quizzing me in return as to why I thought it would be helpful. Uhhh...guess what Annie. I came to YOU for help, and I came to you because I don't know precisely the problem (or didn't until I took my car to a competent mechanic, which doesn't seem to exist any longer at Hyundai Paramus). After being treated so rudely by Annie, I've resolved to never visit this location again. It's put me off from buying another Hyundai in the future, so bad was this experience. I recommend you avoid these people at all costs unless you like getting ripped off and having your inquiries rudely dismissed.

I was searching for a car until last week and given the current market almost all dealers were charging higher prices on both lease and loan options. After having a couple of bad experiences with other dealers, I came across a deal at Paramus Hyundai via Autotrader. I checked Paramus Hyundai's inventory on their website (which is pretty good), and found that the particular car I was looking for was available. I filled a partial online form and got a good online deal on the lease. After submitting the form (didn't have to pay anything till this point), John contacted me and confirmed that the car is available and he also offered me a very good deal -- similar to what was offered online, which is pretty rare with other dealerships, they always add more to the online costs when you visit them. John connected me to Iggi Barreto and within 4 to 5 hours of contacting John, the car was in my hands. I paid what I had agreed with John via email. The whole experience was smooth and Iggi was super helpful in guiding me through the entire process. Iggi also helped me setup the Hyundai app and sent me some links to get me started. Happy with the overall experience!

Iggi Barreto is the man to see if you are looking to purchase a vehicle. Me and my fiance saw Iggi today. I leased a 2021 Elantra and my finance traded her old vehicle in and got a 2022 Tucson. Iggi completed two car purchases in under 5 hours. Iggi is professional, respectful, and makes you feel very comfortable throughout the whole experience. He also helped us create Hyundai Blue Link accounts and explained the features of the app. We also both got great deals! I wish I could give Iggi 6 stars out of 5!
