We came to Shelor looking to trade our old 'used...

We came to Shelor looking to trade our old 'used up' Chevrolet van in on something more dependable. We are long time customers of Shelor and have always had great experiences there and with the vehicles we have purchased. I had called earlier in the week and spoke with Dave Collingsworth and had filled out an online loan application because our credit has taken some hits in the past year we were unsure if we would be able to afford another vehicle right now but Dave assured me that they would be able to help and told me to come in with my husband on Friday evening (the day was my suggestion because of our availability). When we got there (later than I had told Dave because my husband had to work over) we were immediately greeted by Brandon and he showed us to a waiting area while he called Dave for us. However, because it was so late Dave had gone home for the day and Brandon told us Dave had asked him to help us. Brandon took us to his office and talked to us at length about our needs and situation...always making us feel as if we were his primary and only concern even though I heard him being paged several times and was, obviously, very busy that night...he never once made us feel rushed or like he was in a hurry to 'make a deal'. He had us test drive a Kia Sorrento because I loved it and we wanted an SUV but, ultimately, we were unable to afford the monthly payment on that vehicle.. He and his Sales Manager (Mickey ...I can't remember his last name) offered the option of a car and Mickey suggested a small car with excellent gas milage....but I am not a big 'car fan' and didn't want a small car no matter the gas milage and was very disappointed about the Kia....at any rate, we left (this was on Saturday because we had kept the Kia overnight while they worked with the finance options and waited for confirmations from the banks regarding financing, pricing etc.) Shortly after we got home I had a message on my phone from Brandon saying he thought he had an idea so if I could call him back it would be great. It was late when I found the message and the dealership was closed but I called him and left him a message that I had received his call. First thing Monday morning Brandon called me and I told him about some other SUVs I had found online and he said he would check them out and see how the payments worked out and wanted to know when I could come in....ultimately, the SUVs didn't work out payment wise but Brandon found a Chrysler 300 and wanted me to try it so I did and fell in love...LOL...I thought I absolutely didn't want anything but an SUV but after seeing that, financially, for us it was not going to be possible right now I was amazed how much I loved the 300...and I think Brandon knew I would...it is so roomy and so nice with most of the same accessories that the KIA had and I know he knew this would appeal to me. I believe this because he paid attention to what we said and wasn't trying to 'push' some vehicle on us just to sell us something. And he even went the extra mile to phone me personally a few days after we bought the car to ask if I was pleased and if the car was doing okay....totally unexpected and totally wonderful. These are the reasons we have bought vehicles from Shelor before and why we will continue to in the future. And now I will have another reason to suggest to my friends and family to come to Shelor for their car needs and that reason is Brandon Mitchell.

I have already recommended this dealer to a girl I work...

I have already recommended this dealer to a girl I work with. Pat took care of me from the moment I walked in the door and was with me through the entire process. I could not have asked for a better sales person. I didn't feel pressured into buying anything...much less something I didn't want. She made me feel as though her main goal was for me to find the car that I wanted and when I did she did everything she possibly could to make that happen, and it did! I am extremely happy with my car and with the service that I received. Peter finished things up in the business office and was very friendly and informative and he had all of the paperwork ready when I got there and made it a smooth and easy process. I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you again Pat, Peter and Shelor Motor Mile!

My experience with Shelor was great. The staff was friendly and fair and the whole car buying experience was quick and easy. My sales person was Jayson Lynch and he hustled me around, made sure I was taken care of and worked out a fair deal. Thanks Jayson.

Shelor was easy to deal with. Took care of all the paper work before I returned the next day. Did not try to sell me a bunch of extras in the "back room" like a lot of other dealers. Didn't necessarily like the "Price as Posted" but there is something to be said for not having to waste time haggling. In the end, I didn't get a fantastic deal, but I think I did get a fair deal. They were good to work with, the short time I had to be there. I do have to go in for service for them to fix the heat, which they agreed to do, but I have to have an appointment to meet with the service adviser? It would be easier if I could just drop off. we will see how the service goes, but I am optimistic.

Mr. Mitchell was extremely cordial when greeting my wife and listened to her interests concerning the type and style of vehicle she desired! His attention to her description of the circumstances and needs for which she was in the dealership for resulted in expediting the make and model that ultimately brought satisfaction to us both!
