Buyer beware!

Buyer beware!! Dealer told me I could claim a $7,500 EV tax credit on my tax returns but then refused to register my purchase with the IRS as required so I could get my refund. I talked to them about it and they flat out refuse to do it. It doesn't cost them anything to do it. It makes zero sense why they wouldn't do it. They have no idea how to treat a customer and their D- BBB rating proves it. Stay away from this dealership!

EXCELLENT DEALER!

EXCELLENT DEALER! I've been trading at Robert Horne Ford for nearly ten years. Their service department is excellent - very honest and accurate. I highly recommend them. I recently purchased a 2024 F-250 Super Duty from Robert Horne. I am very particular about the vehicles I purchase, so I sat down with Sales Manager Nick and began to spec out the vehicle I wanted. Nick was great at recommending things I hadn't thought about as well as telling me things he didn't think I really needed. From the initial meeting Nick and I went to Bruce who entered the info into the computer. Bruce was very thorough and made certain the final order was exactly what I wanted before sending it to Ford. The day the order was sent I met Justin (Internet Sales Manager) who became my "point man". He's an excellent sales professional. He stayed in touch with me throughout the building of my truck and gave me updates as to the progress. When the truck arrived at Robert Horne, Justin took charge of prepping it and overseeing that everything was as it should be. I really felt like he "had my back" during the whole process. Robert Horne never disappoints me. The staff is always friendly and seems genuinely happy with their jobs. A special "shout out" goes to the Custodian Lady who is always smiling and offers me a bottle of water whenever she sees me. She keeps the place immaculate too. I also want to mention Mike in the Parts Department. I wanted to order several things for the new truck and he was very helpful in finding the right items for me. Also, Ted, in the Finance Department, made what is usually a tedious chore a pleasant experience. Hats off to you, Ted. Nick and Justin make a good team. If you're in the market for a new vehicle, I strongly recommend you talk with either of them at Robert Horne.

We had one of the best experiences buying a car at Robert Horne Ford, 3400 S. Tomahawk Rd., Apache Junction, AZ. Bobby Spinks was our salesman, wonderful guy! Bobby was knowledgeable, prompt, patient and just a joy to work with!! This dealership and Bobby have our loyalty. We were really dreading looking for a car and it was absolutely a delight!!!

I traded in a vehicle previously purchased from this

I traded in a vehicle previously purchased from this dealership in October…SIX months ago. For half a year I’ve been trying to get the prorated money due to me from the extended warranty and GAP I purchased from them. The first person I sent the documents completely ignored it and clearly never submitted the documents. He also never responded to emails in trying to follow up. In January, I was given the information of another person I was told that could help me. Here we are 2 1/2 months later, still nothing. This is absolutely unprofessional and unethical business practices, and I would not recommend doing business with them.

Promised "the Works" for $55 when I called for

Promised "the Works" for $55 when I called for appointment. Said they couldn't do tire rotation because my lug nuts were "swollen"! What a scam! A service that was supposed to cost $60 ended up $92 and they didn't even rotate the tires or check the brakes. Absolutely would NOT recommend this dealership.

Bought a 2018 F150 XLT Sport crew cab listed at $38999.

Bought a 2018 F150 XLT Sport crew cab listed at $38999. Out the door it was just shy of $50k with a $5500 5 yr warranty. Definitely buy the warranty with Ford's. In the first 11 months it has spent nearly an entire month in their service dept getting over $7000 of warranty covered repairs. Service dept is very poor at communicating. They only offer a rental for time it is being actually worked on, not time spent waiting for them to look at it and even then it's $25/day out of pocket to pay for rental car insurance. Very disappointed in the F150 and in the Horne dealership. They ask you to make a service appointment but then say it could take a couple days to get it diagnosed. What's the pint of an appointment then? Biggest vehicle purchase regret of my life.

Buyers Beware!

Buyers Beware!!!! This dealership is so deceptive, and all over the place, so disorganized, communication within the staff is horrible and customer service has been the worst I've seen. I Ordered a Ford Maverick in September 2022 from out of state as I was told the dealership offered delivery. Put my deposit and finally got an email from Ford that it was being built in December 2023. I got a text saying it will be at the dealership on 1/10/24 and I can purchase then. Turns out my salesman left and dealership gave me no communication about this nor was this ever explained even by management. Upon delivery of vehicle (12/28/23) I received a call from Bruce Tessness (I had no idea who this was nor did he explain anything) saying vehicle was delivered and I need to pick up by 1/2/24. I asked for the delivery option that I was promised and he turned in to a total jerk about the situation. I then received a call from my new salesperson (also never told to me who it would be) who was super nice and she offered to deliver the vehicle 1/2 way to me which was about 220 miles. Next morning Bruce calls again and yells at me accusing me of calling the sales person (who I didn't even know it was at this point) and trying to arrange delivery behind his back. At this point I never received any paperwork with final pricing so I asked for it. I got it from Bruce and it was very vague with no explanation of any charges they were adding. When I questioned this Bruce became even more of a jerk and I found out he was adding FACTORY INSTALLED options as being done by the dealership! Then I called the GM, Billy Wittmann, and left a message. Never got a call back, guess I shouldn't have expected one at this point. Then I got a call from another manager, Nick Nevels and he offered delivery 1/2 way for a few hundred dollars, which I was fine with. I told him I'd call back in 30 min with a date and time I can meet. He then had another sales person call me who was another total jerk that didn't even know the situation. I let him know I would finance with my bank and he said Nick will call back. Nick called back and said I needed to finance with them and if I want my bank to finance I'll have to refinance later. The truth came out by Bruce that they needed to sell the vehicle by 1/2/24 in order to report the year end earnings by Ford which is why they would not allow me to finance my vehicle with the bank of my choice. Needless to say instead of taking possession of the vehicle I customized and ordered a year and a half before, I asked for my deposit back as I would never give this dealership a cent! Also Google reviews show this has happened to multiple Maverick orders!

You're GM Billy has (or had) a voicemail with my name and contact number on it which he never responded to during the time I was trying to purchase from you..what makes me think you guys want to reach out now?

Robert Horne Ford lied and took advantage of me.

My car keys would not work electronically. I told them I thought I needed the actuater that was in the door of the car. Instead they programed the two car keys. They worked for one day. Another key company said the keys were so corrorded inside that they should have sold me 2 new keys. I asked for my money back. They said I asked them to program the keys. I never even said the word program to them. I they would not give me my $208.00 back.
