bought a CarBravo certified used car from Sir Walter

bought a CarBravo certified used car from Sir Walter Chevrolet. I had a couple hiccups when it had a major engine issue 2 days after I drove it home. I called CarBravo and was unpleasantly surprised when they told me they don't automatically provide a rental when my car is being fixed (it was not drivable per technician). CarBravo said it was up to the dealer to provide transportation and I could submit a receipt for a rental car and they would review it but not guarantee reimbursement. CarBravo's warranty specifically states they provide a rental if your car is being fixed under warranty so this was not right or fair. The 5 star review comes in when the sales lady that sold me the car (Liz) saw me in the service dept and asked what happened. I told her and she went to the sales side and came back with a loaner for me - one of their pre-owned cars for sale. Due to calling CarBravo initially, there was a GM rep that called and kept me updated on my repair and kept in touch with the service dept. The service dept was excellent - clean, state of the art and efficient. Another hiccup when the check engine light came on again after I got the car back the second time (2 services in a week and a half). Went back to the dealer and they fixed it within 2 hours (computer programming issue). I have never had a Chevrolet but I was happy with the sales and service experience. Hopefully it's fixed for good. CarBravo follow up was good too. Not happy with the initial refusal of a loaner by CarBravo but Liz came through. They deserve to have their extra effort recognized.

Go buy your car from another dealership

Sold me a car that have a electric problem, bad battery,didn't want to fix car after I'm payed 16000 dollars.take my advice go to another dealership and buy your car

I want to compliment sales person Don Phillips for his assistance in finding me a new car. He was very patient and even called my twice during the month after my purchase to see how I liked the car and if there had been any problems . I was very appreciative. He was assisted in the prep for delivery by Jamie Passer who expedited things for me.

My girlfriend got a 2021 trail boss from them and at 64,000 miles they said she needs a new engine. 14,000 for a new engine. Been trying to get in touch with anyone from management and no response

Sloppy service

I went to get my 3000 mile service. They did a very sloppy job, open up the hood had oil on the valve cover gasket in the around the oil top my call went and clean came back with handprints all over it all over the hood all over the door all above all four tires

if you like crooks and thieves or just genuinely don't

if you like crooks and thieves or just genuinely don't like money and wanna waste it then Sir Walters is for you. I purchased a used ZL1 with 69000 miles on it these busters sold a really messed up car ,looks nice, runs great for 3 days, at retail . fast forward 2 months of which i got 3 weeks of use , car has been in shop rest of time plagued with problems. which ultimately is gonna cost me an additional $8800 on top of the $53000 i spent on car. when i first inquired about the issues i was politely asked to leave cause they don't work on modified cars.. now i bought the car modified from this dealer . when i brought the car back a 2nd time and asked to return it to stock the shop manager told me over the phone that they don't work on heavily modified cars , and that his guys cant work on these they don't have knowledge to work on these . and that they knew my car was going to be an issue that's why they got rid of it. now in fairness i did ask for a gas pedal cause the one of codes was a tps code to which the car has 3 spots that could throw this code . this wasn't the fix .. now the statement being made is i didn't buy the warranty. ok if i had the car a few months and came to with these problems its one thing, but i literally reached out the first time 3 weeks after purchasing the car. and even if warranty was purchased your statement to me is that we cant work on car its modified . my other issue claims were made that they did there post inspection after purchasing vehicle, change oil new tires things of that nature.. and somehow they missed the leaking oil from crank seal and pcv system also missed the missing bolts from driveshaft causing a major vibration. there were loose wires dangling these were ground wires , the tires are pretty much burned off (really dont care about the tires) . also missing bolts from exhaust and rear bumper of car .. amongst other issues plaguing the car . they went as far as clearing the check engine light so car could be sold..so that said their only come back is well you bought as is and you didnt buy warranty. ok cool so i learned that no 1 sir walters is full of xxxx and second never buy a single thing from these cats they will take you for everything . thanks sir walters for the excellent customers service . DONT BUY FROM THEM UNLESS YOU WANT A PRETTY PILE OF TRASH

Thank you to Jeorge and greg for helping with an awesome experience with my trade in and purchase. Ive been buying cars for 20 years and no kidding best experience by far. It isn’t even close. Also thank you to the Marines in the dealership who took the time to being gifts to my kids and to myself and wife. The gestures were beautiful and will stay with me and you have a die hard loyal customer even if i have to drive cross country due to my military orders. Thank you to all. Special shout out to dana, semper fi brother! Thank you for the kind gesture for my family!

Battery replacement

Brought my 2015 Suburban in for what I thought was an electrical issue. The staff at Sir Walter plugged their computer in to my car and ran a diagnostic test and found out all I needed was a new battery. Cheap fix!! Great staff in the service department, Troy was excellent and kept me informed on what the mechanics were doing to solve the issue I had. Highly recommend Sir Walter for sales and service.
