I live in NY and was visiting my daughter in Charlotte. She had a wonderful buying experience at VW of S. Charlotte when she first moved down from NY. Mazen was her exceptional salesman.She urged me to look for a car and brought me to the dealership.I bought a car and had it shipped to NY. I can not say enough positive things about my buying experience at this particular dealership. Everybody there was extremely pleasant, especially Mazen and Kent. They really made the buying experience painless for me. Kent McClure was in constant contact with me for weeks during the buying and shipping to NY process. He is truly a shining star and a great asset. VW is very lucky to have him on board.

I had the best experience at VW South Charlotte. The team is very kind and willing to does everything to ensure the customer is happy. KWASI ASANTE-ANSONG was a God send! He was very patient and willing to answer all of my questions. I never felt pressured to make a decision as I have at other dealerships. I truly feel that I can call Kwasi up anytime with questions and he will help me solve the problem. I will definitely be stopping by to say hello when I get my car serviced. 100%

A sterling, no hassle buying experience! Matt, Kent and...
A sterling, no hassle buying experience! Matt, Kent and Mo exhibited sincere concern and willingness to do whatever was necessary to render me the satisfied customer I am today. Since 2001, I had dealt primarily with the service team for scheduled maintenance on my former 2001 VW Beetle purchased elsewhere. When traded recently, my 2001 Beetle had close to 200K miles on it and was still performing well which is not only a tribute to the brand, but the service team as well. I would like to point out that since Mark Cohen became the GM, I noticed a significant change and improvement upon how the customer is treated when visiting his dealership. Matt Hettel exhibited superb product knowledge in acquainting me with the features and operation of my 2013 VW R-Line Beetle. He willingly programmed the car radio and navigation system thereby eliminating the step by step procedures I would have had to follow using the owner's manual. In a nutshell, the car was completely prepped and ready in all aspects for ME the new owner. It doesn't get any better than this!

I purchased my first car at Volkswagen of South Charlotte...
I purchased my first car at Volkswagen of South Charlotte earlier this week and just let me say that I can't imagine having a more satisfying customer experience. Ramsey Anabtawi was my sales consultant and he was such a pleasure to work with (and look at! ;-) ). From the outset of meeting, Ramsey listened closely to my wants and needs. My CAR wants and needs, that is! (Get your minds out of the gutter, people! ;-) ) He clearly wasn't concerned with selling me the newest, most expensive car (I test drove one of those), but rather the best car (solution) for me (which is what I ended up with). Ramsey also wasn't in a hurry; he took the time to meet, listen and answer all of my questions. The dealership's sales manager and finance manager were equally committed to getting me in the car I wanted at a price I could afford. Having already spoken with Ramsey and a few other folks at the dealership several times since making my car purchase, I'm also convinced that this relationship isn't going to be a one-night stand. Rather it seems that my purchase was just the beginning of what will be a long-term, committed relationship between me and Volkswagen of South Charlotte. I cannot recommend them highly enough...especially that Ramsey! Outstanding and consistent service
Always a great experience in the service department. The free WiFi, comfortable lounge area, and workstations/desks allow me to keep working if I need to or enjoy a television show. Service is always prompt.

Team Work
My experience with Volkswagen of South Charlotte was excellent!!!! Everyone worked together getting the process finished in a timely matter. Mr. John Schmidt who I initially went into Volkswagen of South Charlotte to speak in reference to a window repair. Mr. Schmidt who greeted me with a friendly, "Hello what can I help you with?" After I explained to Mr. Schmidt what the problem was seemed to be very concerned. Mr. Schmidt who has great customer service was fast and prompt with helping me, getting me in and out. Mr. Schmidt then asked me if I needed a ride home. You can't get better customer better than that!!!!! Which of coarse I did.... :) Mr. Schmidt then introduced me to Mr. Gunnar Jonasson who as well was very caring and professional who transported me back to my resident. I would like too as well recognize Mr. Louie forgive I don't recall his last name, who was helpful. I was struggling getting my belongings out the trunk of my vehicle . Mr. Louie didn't hesitate one bit to come to my aid and help me take my belongs out of one vehicle and put them in another vehicle. I can appreciate him as well!!!! "Great Team Work." I always tell my friends and family to go to Volkswagen South of Charlotte. Thanks for your dedication.

John was very responsive and helpful. Service was completed ahead of schedule and as expected. Some items were corrected without being asked which was a nice surprise. Only reason for a 4 for price was because no one wants to spend over $4000 to replace an engine. John did you proud considering a difficult pill to swallow for repair costs. Thanks and would recommend.
