I have been to rgis dealership twice.
Poor service they took a long time on my vehicle and did not fix my recall properly. If you have a Hyundai please take your Vehicle to Bob Mayberry in Monroe. Rhus dealership inspected my vehicle the 23rd of December gave me a passing report and was going to charge me for a airbag light. Two weeks later I'm on the side of the road for something they missed. Please take your Vehicle elsewhere. Bob Mayberry were super professional and I received a brand new motor under warranty. This place is scrappy. The service manager Chris is a fake and act like he care when he doesn't.

Horrible "service"
A massive lack of transparency combined with ignoring emails and dodging phone calls makes this one of the worst experiences I've ever had with any company in my life. Go literally anywhere else.

Poor customer service/ shady sales practices
Do not go to this dealership!! We negotiated a deal for a 2014 prius over the phone since we lived an hour and a half away. We worked with the sales manager to agree on a price that was mutually agreeable. We were told they were detailing the car when we were on the phone with them to have it ready for us. We left our house to start the drive to purchase the vehicle and were called on our drive because they sold it to someone else. We had already negotiated the cash deal and they knew we were coming in. Also how do you sell a car to someone else if it’s being detailed? Too many things do not add up, I think we were lucky we didn’t end up doing business with a dealership that has no ethics.

Excellent salesmanship and service delivery
I worked with Mr. Bobbie Person. Very professional and friendly guy. Bobbie once got me a car years back when I was in Ghana, West Africa before moving here to the states. Upon moving to the state, I contact him when I needed a car and told him what I want. He went out of his way looking and searching till found me exactly what I needed and in my budget. The used mazda cx-5 he got me was excellent and in perfect shape. I am a happy customer because of Bobbie and his managers. I will be going back soon for my next car.

Glad I won't have to buy another car there
Working with this dealership was impossible - they were incredibly unprofessional. I recently purchased a used vehicle from Pinehurst Toyota and had a terrible time getting things in order with them. As soon as they heard the words "we are financing with our own bank" customer service went out the window. They even lost track of the check our bank sent them and we (the customer) had to go and track it down only to find out someone at the dealership already had it and cashed it... but they told us they never received the money. We only got quick responses once we brought in my husband or my father. Once I got the vehicle, which was supposedly detailed, it was still covered in the previous owners dog hair and stains were on the ceiling. They misspelled my husbands name on the paperwork multiple times when they even had his drivers license on file with the correct spelling. The only part that was pleasant was that they young sales person was very kind and helpful, and he made sure that I got the new wipers and trailer hitch installed on the vehicle quickly. I firmly believe the core of the issues we faced were his management and the financial team at the dealership.

Poor service - multiple visits for same issue
Moved from Northeast where Hyundai dealerships are dedicated to Hyundai vehicles and top notch customer service. Pinehurst Huyndai is NOT that type of dealership - it's an older Toyota dealership with service bays and a newer Hyundai dealership with no service bays. Cramped service bays, short staffed, no Hyundai parts stocked, weaving through overpacked parking lot is ridiculous, do not fully listen to customer issues and/or don't get entire issue into computer correctly. Been in three times for issue that's still not fully fixed and they left dirty handprints on my driver's interior door panel on two visits. They could not understand my displeasure after dropping car off last three Fridays and picking up on Saturdays (420 miles between my car and husband's to pick me up). I told them EXACTLY what is needed, they order wrong part for second trip that did not fix issue (not part that I suggested was issue), it needed two of the same part (that is part I suggested) but only ordered one for third trip. They didn't bother doing a basic 10-second double check to know issue wasn't fully fixed. They will never see my vehicle again - I'll make the trip to Concord from now on.

My Experience: Misleading, Poor Post-Sales Customer Service
I recently purchased a used vehicle from Pinehurst Toyota. I live 6 hours away and so I had to work through the details of the deal prior to arriving to take possession of the truck. Throughout this experience I worked with 3 different sales representatives. I requested additional pictures of the vehicle along with detailed explanation of the state of the vehicle. The first issue was that they dealer stated that they had the service records for the vehicle. They did not. The next issue was that I was shuffled between representatives regularly and therefore had an issue working through the details of the vehicle. Was this in an of itself a sales tactic? After having agreed to a purchase price, which was on the higher end of the range for retail on this vehicle, I made arrangements to drive the 6 hours, in a rental car, and stay the night at a local hotel. In respect to the price, I agreed to pay a little above what my bank stated retail should have been due to the fact that I was advised by the sales representatives that this vehicle was in excellent condition. Upon arrival, the first issue was that the paint on the vehicle was faded. The pictures did not show this despite having thoroughly reviewed them. I’m not certain that a little bit of retouching wasn’t used. Next, the front driver tire is beyond safe to drive on. The passenger side is not too far behind. Ok, none of these are mechanical drive train issues so I agree to go on a test drive. The control for the air conditioner fan speed had a problem, but other than this it appeared as though I was not immediately dealing with any major issues. In respect to the condition of the paint, I’m advised that it is expected of that year. Ok, that is fine, but I’m not paying you for faded paint. I’m paying for a vehicle in excellent condition – which the dealership told me it was. This vehicle is not. However, due to the time and investment I have I opt to look past this. I sign the papers. And yes, since it’s a used vehicle I have to acknowledge the as-is statement. I’m fully aware of the legal aspects of this. I drive the vehicle to my hotel, turn the key back to turn the vehicle off, and it being a diesel, did not turn off. I spent 5 minutes working to get the vehicle to shut down. The next morning I start my drive back home and once I get out of town and get some speed I realize that the tachometer has stopped functioning, and the air conditioner controls are not working correctly. Then, as I reach highway speeds on the interstate I realize that I’m hearing a continuous humming sound. So, within 24 hours I start experiencing a number of issues with the vehicle despite having been told by the dealership that the vehicle was in excellent condition. In short, I was misled by the dealership. And I asked these questions thoroughly. I contacted the dealership within 24 hours to advise them that they had not disclosed the true condition of this vehicle to me and that, considering that I had paid excellent retail price would expect them to stand by their word, and their promise of great customer service, and assist with some of the repairs necessary to get the vehicle up to excellent retail. I received no response from the dealership. Not until I advised them that I was going to contact the State’s Attorney generals office did anyone respond, and even then they simply told me it was my problem. I’ll let anyone who has read this make their own determinations as to the experience they expect to have with this dealership, pre and post sales.

Worst experience at a dealership ever
Drove an hour down to look at a vehicle that was in stock. Got phone confirmation from 2 employees at the dealership that the vehicle that I was looking at was at the dealership and would be available to look at by noon. Showed up on time and the salesman Bobby was running around the dealership like he had no purpose. They bring the wrong vehicle around to look at, we inform him that this is the wrong vehicle and he proceeds to ignore us while we wait for 20 minutes. When we confront him his manager informs us that the vehicle we came to look at wouldn't be there for a week. Nightmare scenario. This place is the nightmare you think about when you think about car buying. Simply put the worst dealership and people.

New Car Purchase
Recently purchased a new Highlander from this dealership. There was an initial misunderstanding and I was very frustrated; however, the General Manager called me and listened calmly to my frustrations. Within a few days (at my convenience), I went to the dealership and met personally with him. He quickly resolved my problem and I am now a happy customer. Over the years I have purchased 5 or 6 vehicles from Pinehurst Toyota and each purchase was a pleasant experience. I love my new Highlander.
