Sports cars, SUVs and a big truck took main stage at the 2019 North American International Auto Show in Detroit the year before it reboots to warm weather in June 2020. Here were the winners and losers from the show.

The all-new Genesis G70 luxury sedan, redesigned Ram 1500 pickup truck 
 and all-new Hyundai Kona SUV topped their respective categories to win 
 the journalist-voted North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year 
 awards.

We got up close to the 2020 Volkswagen Passat at the 2019 North 
 American International Auto Show in Detroit, where it makes its debut.
