Somewhat disappointed with the 2020 RDX A-Spec

This is my 5th Acura vehicle purchase. I have owned 2 RDX (2016 & 2017)prior to my recent purchase of a 2020 model. I like the vehicle but remain disappointed that the brakes squeak every time that you start the vehicle until it warm up. I have reported this issue to the dealership several times since making my purchase in October, 2019 but they don’t seem to know how to resolve it. I was shown a letter from Acura as reference that it’s expected but the notice did not include or state that this was an issue for the 2020 models. I would really like to find a solution. If unable to resolve the issue I am going to trade the vehicle and definitely will not purchase another Acura. This should not happen with a new vehicle.

Smooth ride

This car is exactly what I wanted. After owning a Benz C class for 14 years, I decided to purchase this vehicle because of it’s style and accessories.

Second trip to dealer for rattles.

I think rattles at 5000 miles suggest problems with build quality. I miss having a digital speed display and remote start. Even though remote start is available it cost $100 per year.

Really great love my RDX

All options on the advanced I wanted except wireless charging, so added that for 10.00 from amazon and I am happy! Only 1000 miles so far but impressed, I traded 2011 Audi Q5 and think I did the right thing for me by switching. I like a sporty car that handles and accelerates and the RDX definitely satisfies me. Really surprised at the turning radius, almost able to square turns with this ShAWD.

Chose over MB GLC

After multiple test drives in Mercedes GLCs and Acura RDX, bought the RDX. Much better value for the money if you’re not hung up on the badge. BTW, I owned a Mercedes for past 10 years. RDX Advanced package loaded with many features that would cost several thousands $$ more on GLC.

Nice luxury small SUV

The car is great all around. Has a lot of great features and some kick in performance mode. It looks good. The Infotainment system is a little difficult to use. Great safety features (blind spot detection, lane departure, collision monitoring, etc.)

An average crossover.

I drove it with a lot of expectation after seeing many test drive videos. I felt the suspension is not soft even with comfort mode (I did feel minor road imperfections). The breaking is below average, especially on emergency braking situations. overall seating and riding positions are great. Road visibility is good. I'm absolutely loving the exterior and interior design. There are some cheap plastic feeling on the dash ( Auto climate display is a bit cheap look like 90's HiFi stereo display) and storage options are excellent. I would expect more riding comfort from a vehicle which is touching 50K.
