Didn't know I would love it this much

Coming from a standard Honda Accord EX-V6, I knew that I could not go wrong with an Acura. Acura is the luxury for Honda Corporation. This car rides with ease, is agile, has great style both inside and out, and basically no cabin or outside noise when driving. While Mercedes and BMW are luxury vehicles, I feel like I received that in this Acura, with all the bells and whistles, obviously at a least expensive price. However, I drive about 44 miles a day to and from work, and it doesnt seem that great on gas, but I still LOVE this car. Just put in your iPod, and you will forget all about it. If your considering high luxury but dont want to pay it, you get it and more with the Acura TL, GPS Navigation package.

Great Car!

This is my 4th Acura starting with an Integra in 1990. They have all passed 200K miles comfortably and this one is the best of the bunch so far. I bought it Certified Pre-Owned with 22K miles. The car looks good, handles well, great interior and exterior lighting systems. It also has a great sound system and gets reasonably good mileage (23-24 Hwy and about 19-20 city). I chose the TL this time over the TL-S that I previously owned, mostly due to a more comfortable ride and my penchant for driving a little slower these days on winding country roads. It has the same size engine as my previous TL-S, so it has plenty of get up and go when I need it. Highly recommended as a great value as well.

They make the best cars

I've only owned it a few days and you have to be careful with low entrances, but you are driving a sports car. Handling, performance, and options are all beyond expectations. I plan to own this car for a very long time!

Worst influential car for my driving record

I purchased the 2008 TL 3 months ago due to it being a good deal. I had been shopping for a car for months and been to every German/Japanese dealership in town so I knew a lot about the IS's, the G's, the 3's, the C's, and the A's. Perceived bad: front wheel drive, mid 200's horse-power, and too many gadgets. Reality: this car has turned me into a want to be racer. I always find myself passing cars, changing lanes without turn signals, accelerating on ramps, and turning the volume up on the XM satellite radio. And at the end of a fun night in West Middle of Nowhere, I can tell my car to "go home" and it would show me the way! I think the TL is the best buy for its class and at the end of the day that's the bottom line in my book. I purchased a car that embodied luxury and performance for a VERY reasonable dollars. Bought the car Certified with 12900 miles. No complaints so far.

stiff,not comfortable,wide turning circle

I've had it,and sold it very soon. Reasons are: 1.Car is too stiff for sedan, 2. steering wheel kindda high, gets your shoulder painful on a highway ride, 3. smallish trunk, but no biggie, and the worst thing is 4. so,so,so wide turning circle. Got me so many times stuck, and people honking horns behind me,and that would be the main reason why i sold it. Other then that car is very reliable.

Decent car

Comparing this car to my previous one is like night and day. I traded in a 2007 BMW 335i for this car (had to do it out of necessity for a bigger car in the 30k-40k price range). If I didn't need the room (or actually wanted to pay for a 5-series), I would not have traded my other car. It certainly is roomier. A lot of features for the money. However, there is significant torque steer but only when driving in the higher RPMs and accelerating hard. Short of doing that, the torque steer is really not all that bad. The other downside is the huge turning radius. I think this is the first sedan I've driven where I've had to complete a U turn in two steps. The transmission is a little slow to down shift and the manumatic function does not help. As for the ride, it rides very nicely. The sound system is awesome compared to the logic7 in the BMW. The bluetooth system is wonderful. The build quality could be a little better. Looking at the gaps between various body panels, I would've expected smaller gaps (a Nissan Altima has smaller gaps). Reliability has been phenomenal. Gas mileage is great. You can get 30+ MPG in the highway. We drove it cross country and averaged 30 MPG.

My TL

After trading in my Acura RDX for a TL, the TL's standard options are better as well as the gas mileage by a longshot. The TL comes standard with bluetooth capabilities which is good when you're on the cell phone a lot. For many other vehicles their models would have to be their top of the line, whereas the basic model TL comes with leather, awesome stereo, bluetooth, sunroof, dual exhaust, in dash 6 disk changer, and full personalizing for two drivers. The seats, mirrors, and radio stations for; in my case for the wife and myself. Having always driven rear wheel drive cars this is a bit new to me on the handling but the traction in icy weather is great with the traction control. Just rolled over 7000 miles, so far so good!

most reliable car I've owned

My 2008 Acura tl has been the best car i've had... ever! It gets great gas mielage and combines sportniess and luxury perfectly! 0-60 in 6.6 seconds with an automatic/front wheel drive! the seats are very comfortable and supportive on long drives, although I wish that you could raise/lower the passenger seat.
