2018 Audi SQ5 consumer reviews

The SQ5 very well designed. Great performance from the new turbo charged 3.0 engine. The 8 speed transmission paddle shift is very responsive. Quiet ride. The Quattro all wheel drive handles great in snow.

Simply, for all the amazing bells and whistles the 2018 Audi SQ5 Prestige packs (literally the list of appointments is absurdly long), the twin-turbo V6 is astonishing. As you watch your speed on the heads-up display smoothly accelerate from 0-60, it’s the feeling of being pushed back into your seat and done so quietly that impresses. It’s pure joy.

Delayed gratification! Awesome German engineering and a wolf in sheep’s clothing. This baby can haul at 354hp! I have been looking for this vehicle for some time. If you find one...buy it!

The SQ5 is good looking, comfortable, quiet, and has spirited acceleration. The handling is excellent, and confidence inspiring. It's fun to drive, and is a great sport ute! For me, the only negative is the price.

We leased a 2016 SQ5 and loved it. We were hesitant when deciding to turn it in for a 2018 version knowing that it was the first year of the new model and that production had moved to Mexico. We made a major mistake! Truly hate the 2018 SQ5 and will likely move on to BMW or MB for the next lease. No "premium vehicle" experience with this one - wiper blades had to be replaced immediately, window seals all make noise and shudder when rolling down the windows. Exhaust note from fake tailpipes is ridiculous drone and not muffled at all by the plastic roller rear deck that is now standard. Brakes are a grabby noisy joke and make parking (especially if wet from rain) a jerky embarrassing experience in your brand new car. Having said all this we do like the sound system and new displays, but I'm sure we can enjoy those in other German offerings without all the issues we've experienced with Audi.

Owning it for about 15 months, just completed a 3,000 miles road trip in 12 days, and was amazed by the solid performance and unbelievable fuel economy of 29 mpg overall!

A sports car in an SUV body. Stylish, comfortable, great handling and performance. I have owned numerous Audi's and have NEVER been disappointed. The car simplification you driving skills if you let it.

This is my 4th Audi. After 3 cars with a 2.0T under the hood, and coming from a 2016 e class (302 hp) I knew I wanted something sportier and faster. An s4 was always my dream car, but Add a baby in to the mix, and this is your next best option. The sq5 is a joy to drive. I would recommend it to anyone who can afford it. I also do not regret buying new. Virtual cockpit and car play are a must have

Love the vehicle. Agree with all reviews provided. I would have preferred another color, but Maryland used car selection of this vehicle limited likely due to popularity and reliability.
