This is the Most dependable car i have owned.
ONE OF A KIND 2005 BMW 525i, Drives smoothly, nice and tight, no rattles. Engine, suspension, transmission, steering, are superb. Transmission shifts very smooth. Cold A/C. This car has the best engine in its class; straight 6-cylinder; best engine BMW has made. Excellent car for daily driving. Fuel consumption is @ 23-26 mpg.- Purchased a New car

Beautiful Car/ Not Reliable
I have this car for about four years now, and I think I was at the dealer eight times a year for a electrical problem. It is a great car but the time spent at the dealer is SO not worth it, waiting for hours or leaving the car with them, VERY inconvenient, and the cost of repairs is outrages. You go to the dealer to repair one- Purchased a Used car
- Does recommend this car

Nice but unreliable
I have a 525 wagon, and while it is a blast to drive, it has proven very unreliable. I have owned it for a year and the following have needed repair: - New turbo (I have the 525 diesel). BMW reported this to be a common problem. - Airbag symbol started to light up twice, two different problems - License plate lights went out,- Purchased a Used car
- Does not recommend this car

Fun car to drive
This car is a blast to drive. While it's not the 300 hp model, it has the feel of much more power than you would guess from the engine size and output. With the 6-spd, it gets well over 30 mpg highway and around 20 mpg city.- Purchased a Used car
- Does recommend this car

Fun car to drive
2005 BMW 525i is the best handling car I've ever drove for a passenger sedan. It gets great gas mileage highway driving at between 75/80 mph. Decent power for a 184 hp engine.- Purchased a New car
- Does recommend this car
