Excellent fit and finish a real BMW. I have a cheat. I put a 5 gallon plastic gas container in rear. On an almost full charge head to my cottage 209 miles away. Charge runs out goes to RE then about 50 miles gas up from trunk making sure not to run all the way down. arrival in style just making it. Fill tank, put on charge, fill gas container and ready to go.

This is a fun to drive vehicle. Well styled. I wish it had more range on that battery charge. That silver not hold me back from purchasing the vehicle hasn't had the extra gas tank as well with the small engine. Overall, this vehicle get out of its way and is very responsive. You don't want to never have to go through a set of brake pads's aS the electric engine does most of the work I just wish the rear hatch had another foot or so or for him

This was an amazing car, electric and had a ton of power, excelerated on to the highway with ease, so very quiet, test drove several other makes and this one was exceptional.

I bought a used car with under 10,000 miles that is heavily featured. I I'm having a wonderful time.

This car is great for city driving and around town. Not a good choice for a long distance trip. Great car if you have the ability to charge it at home, overnight. Public charging stations are somewhat available. Takes about 5 hours to charge at a charging station and most are free. Gets 80 miles on the charge and 80 miles on the 2 gallons of gas to be used after you use the charge.

I love, love, love my car. It drives well, great pick up and torque. However, it DOES NOT have the promised range. This car only charges to about 57-61 miles (not 80 as promised) and with the REX I am lucky to get about 80-90 miles on interstate driving/charge and 1.9 gallons. Maybe this will improve in the summer, but currently puts a lot of pressure on my 75 mile commute. I do work 12 hours shifts, so I thought I had time for a full recharge...but alas, that is 19 hours from 0 to full battery.

Car is unique and fun! Scooter engine should be 60 Hp, and tank at least 5 gallons, 20" wheels should have all season tiresand winter tires at least option!

It's one thing to read about the i3 and another to experience it. BMW's clever think tank came up with this brilliant plan to let people take one of these EVs home for an extended 2 day test drive. I took them up on this offer out of curiosity and was sold by day 2. Mind you, it takes about a day to get used to the strong regen breaking. So strong that when you lift off on the accelerator, it feels like you are breaking. By the 2nd day, i was really used to this one pedal method of driving. Pickup for my mostly suburban driving is entertainingly fast, but more so, super silent. You will feel like a street Ninja! Turning radius is also super tight, i can make a narrow city street u turn with cars parked on both sides! It's really nimble as well. BMW is subsidizing $7500 in April/2015 for 24 month lease takers. Hard to pass this deal up. I'll be picking mine up in a week or so.
