Best car out of all Cadillacs is this 2007 DTS 4 D

I work the GM for a few years my dad retired from GM after 32 years I started doing mechanical work on cars my dad I picked out a Cadillac 2007 DTS for him and it was on the lot in 2009 when he went and got it didn't have any miles on it I told him to trim little trim the best Cadillac in the world get it you got it he had it from 2009 until he passed 2014 and then I paid it off for my mom and she kept her 2023 last year when she passed and then became my car it's a beautiful car I've never had to replace one thing except for a headlight and it's easy you do not have to take off the bumper you have to loosen it up and you have to turn the light on a slight angle to take it out and it comes right out and I replaced that ball twice once for my dad and once for myself turn out you want to take it off and then mechanic for 20 years of killings it is a beautiful car ride for the dream I love it I'll never get rid of it I don't drive in the winter time just to summertime !

Great car but expensive to maintain

I owned a 2007 dts for 7 years. I bought it used when it was 6 years old and used as a daily driver for 7 years. It rides and prforms as you would expect a luxury car to, and still drew compiments till the day I sold it. This is a great car but if you are considering a used dts be sure you know thecars history. If it was owned by someone who failed to maintain it and have serviced by a reputable location you should pass as repairs on this (and many) Cadillacs can be costly, The water pumps are nown to fail at 120k miles and it will set you back $1,000. They are a nice, reliable car but not an economy car in any way. Plan to spend 1-1,500/ year to keep on the road. The entire front bumper must be removed to change headlights.

Why the DTS ?

I wish the Cadillac DTS was still being manufactured. Plenty of power from the small V-8. Great ride and roomy interior. Plenty of room in the trunk for travel bags. Other than minor problems it has been a very dependable automobile.

16 years driving a DTS

I have been driving a DTS for the past 16 years. The first one was a 2006 and the second was a 2010. Tremendously enjoyable ride and performance. Bought what I thought was the replacement (a CT6) but it is not as large, quiet, or comfortable as the DTS. It is just as powerful but the v6 engine sounds wimpy compared to the Northstar V8. Cadillac is now pursuing a new demographic and its not me.

This is the best car I have owned. Comfort & Fast

This is the best car I have owned in 50 years of owning and driving vehicles. It is comfortable, enjoyable to drive, good looking, The DTS offers impeccable road manners and a warm, spacious interior. Yet the DTS also offers crisp handling and good grip for improved composure and driving enjoyment on winding roads. The 2007 Cadillac DTS is a full-size luxury sedan, powered through its front wheels by Cadillac's 4.6-liter Northstar V8.

Sharpe looking, comfortable and reliable

This car meets all our needs, plenty of leg room, comfort, and plenty of perks for the dollar! Quiet, like riding on a cloud. Has quad speakers that puts out a smooth and even sound that you would think "Pavarotti" was sitting in the car. Awsome! Great gas mileage for your buck. I may never purchase anything else going forward. Great car. Enjoying the experience.
