This was a great suv and a safe one at that! no major issues or real costly repairs. I'm actually gonna buy another one. would say buy one if you are looking for a nice not to big family suv

After putting over a hundred thousand miles on this, my first Cadillac, I can officially say that I'm disappointed at best. Everything was very good mechanically, engine, tires, alignment, interior, etc. No accident damage, everything was fine. Since I first got it at about 50,000 miles it has sounded like an old, beat up truck on the inside, and rode the same way. This is a Cadillac? Are you sure? It only sounded and rode beautifully one time for me. With all the rear seats folded down, and with a plastic tarp covering the floor, I loaded twenty large bags of wooden mulch chips into it. Engine noise completely disappeared and I could feel no bumps in the road. It was a silent and extremely quiet ride. I thought it would be a bit of a problem for me if I left the mulch in it forever just to get that "Cadillac ride", so I didn't. It has also been a mechanical problem child, and the biggest problem is that when I go to a gas station I fill it up with oil and I check the gas. The original equipment GPS is a cruel joke and the wind noise is unbearable if you want to do something crazy like open the panoramic sun roof. Other than those things it's an almost an ok car.

This vehicle is a great buy for the money ! Loaded with usable options and the V8 option has plenty of power to get it moving!

Very comfortable, hugs the road. Best car I've ever driven. Long distance trips are not a problem at all. Plenty of leg room and great on gas!

While driving from FL to NC, our Cadillac SRX stopped functioning. My husband couldn’t control anything and when we slid off the road, hitting a stand of trees, my daughter was killed and my husband was crushed. No airbags deployed, and the seatbelts didn’t hold us in. All the safety features I thought would protect us failed. It happened Christmas Eve 2014. My daughter, Emily, had just turned 28. I didn’t lose consciousness. I watched it all happen and even held my daughter’s hand when she died. I’m many ways I feel Iike I died that day too. We had Onstar and they only send out emergency vehicles when airbags deploy. Our airbags didn’t deploy. I would like to sue Cadillac for the death of my only daughter. Can anyone help me?

We recently lost our SRX IN AN ACCIDENT. It saved our lives. Air bags protected my wife and I completely. Our 2008 SRX was fully loaded with the V6 and AWD. We drove it every day and on long trips. Mileage varied from 14 to 21mpgs. Capable of transporting 5 grandkids and all their gear on vacations and long trips. Taught the two oldest to drive in it and they thought it was a good vehicle to learn on. I would recommend a mid mileage used one to anyone. No major repairs in 122,000 miles. One set of brakes and tires, serviced regularly .

This car has plenty of room and plenty of power for the v-6 engine it has. I was very surprised to say the least.The ride and comfort are amazing.
