Best Car Ever

I spent several weeks looking at Cadillac SRXs and found several in the right year and color and add-ons we wanted. All were in a nearby city and we took a road trip and looked at 4 different SRXs. The last one was it. All the options at a great price. Cars.com made it easy. Love being able to look at CarFax online. Having all the info, all together, helps when negotiating time starts. Thanks!

2008 Cadillac SRX AWD - Happy Owner

I am very pleased with my SRX. While I am not thrilled with the "station wagonesque" exterior, the performance, comfort, and feature set is a compelling package. The bottom line is that I love driving it. It was an easy choice between the SRX, Volvo, Lexus, Chevy, Ford and Volkswagen. Here's what I love: - Very good handling, acceleration and performance. The v6 has plenty of get up and go. No problems passing on the highway. A lot of fun in corners. - Utra View moon roof adds a lot of light to the cabin - and the kids love it - Good visibility. It doesn't have the "high-belt line" rampant in 2011+ vehicles. All that does is make the kids car sick and reduce visibility - Handsome interior Here's what you shoud be aware of: - The front and rear wheels are different widths. I'm the kind of guy that gets snow tires and it appears to be a challenge to match tires to this vehicle - The seats are very performance oriented. They are much more stiff then the Ford Flex for example. As such, it took me a long time to find a comfortable seating position. Overall, I think you will be very pleased. It drives much better than the new generation SRX.

Comfort, spacious, reliable

I have owned this vehicle 2.5 years and have never had a problem nor a complaint, It is an especially comfortable and perfect highway traveller. It holds a lot of luggage. It is easy to drive and handle in traffic. I would definitely recommend this vehicle.

SRX4 kind of bug ridden at 36K

Bought our 2008 3 weeks ago. Car looked great and had more features than others at same price. Wheel front bearings now making noise and seeing intermittent problems with back up sensors. Bearings are covered under warranty but they should not fail at 36K should they? Cadillac dealer can't see the car and made an appointment for next week. Already regret ever looking at this car. If your thinking about a used SRX I would recommend you shop around a little more.

Great Car

My husband and I just bought our 2008 Cadillac SRX a month ago - probably the best purchase we've ever made. Very comfortable for tall people - my husband and I are over 6' tall. We love the handling and the comfort. We've had other vehicles, and kept looking at a variety of SUV's and this is one great car!

Best Car I've Ever Owned

The SRX has far surpassed all of our expectations. We bought it for my wife but we continuously fight over who gets to drive it. Ours has all the options including V8, AWD, sport appearance package, 20" wheels, ultraview roof, 3rd row seat, navigation, DVD player and I recommend every one of them. The car is super fast, it handles like a sports sedan and the interior is awesome. My boss recently bought a $70K Porshe Cayanne and after driving our SRX he was clearly disturbed at what a great value it is. Not sure why this model didn't sell better but it is sure worth a look. Only complaint is poor gas mileage but you get where your going fast and in style.

Good Car

I can't get over the look of a station wagon. On the outside it looks like a station wagon. Once you get in the drivers seat you will fall in love. The adjustable pedals and seat it feels like it was custom made for me (I am 5'8 my husband is 6'2 he says its a little cramped.) I didn't care for the two tone interior colors at first but they have grown on me. I love the panoramic sunroof. Gas mileage was a little disappointing. My biggest dislikes are the chrome ac vents there is a bad reflection in the mirrors of them and I don't like the way the middle seat folds down to get to the optional 3rd row seating its awkward. The 3rd row seat is uncomfortable for adults period. Children for short trips are ok but would not recommend it for a long drive. I bought this car used about a month ago. I spoke with the previous owner before purchasing. She just needed more room and said the back seat was a waste of space. I didn't understand what she was talking about until now. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. You can't beat the ride. I have owned a Honda, a Nissan, an oldsmobile, a Buick, and a Gmc utility vehicle. This SRX hands down is the best riding vehicle that I have owned.

good vehicle poor service

I love the srx with the third row seat. great when needed but folds completely away for good cargo space. It also handles well and is good on gas -just don't have a service issue or your get a run around from the dealership and caddilac customer service. My SRX has a wind noise that is a loud high pitched whine when one of the air vents on the center console is closed. Basicly sounds as if a gasket is dried out or twisted allowing wind to whistle out the opening. The dealership and gm service both stated that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle that this is normal and there is nothing they will do to help stop this noise. Flat out- if you expect some speical service because you buy a cadillac- guess again.

2008 Cadillac SRX AWD

I recently purchased a used Red 2008 SRX Sport Edition, Navagation, Sunroof etc. with 12,000 miles on it. I bought it in Sparta, WI. on the internet and drove it back to Seattle, WA. by way of Phoenix, Az., the car performed flawlessy and was a most comfortable ride.
