2008 Cadillac STS consumer reviews

I had this car for a year and a half and I bought it used and it was a great car for a long time except that the parts are a little more pricier and if you have an electrical problem look out because I brought it to four mechanics at four different shops plus a Cadillac dealership and nobody can figure out what was wrong with my car. Craziest thing on rainy days with humidity the car would just go crazy because of a problem with the electrical system and it would just die out while I was driving and then after the car would sit for a few days it would start right up like nothing ever happened. It was weird because when the weather was nice and sunny the car would run perfectly but when there was humidity it would break down and nobody could figure out why and I kept having to get it towed. It’s pretty sad that we put a man on the moon over 50 years ago and the Cadillac dealership can’t figure out what’s wrong with the wrong car that they make. Long story short I had one too many nightmares and I was told it would take thousands of dollars just to diagnose the problem so I had no choice but to take a loss on it and I sold it to Carmax for a big loss and they were aware of the problem but they’ll buy anything. Overall the car looks great it’s a fun car to drive and I loved it but because of the electrical problems Im not happy to say that I would not recommend this car at this time.

Our 2008 Cadillac has 120k miles on it. Looks and smells brand new. Can't tell its used.. Wow.. What a car! We service it regularly, and my wife is not a big traveler. What is impressive is that nothing has gone wrong with it, other than regular service work..

My husband and I had this car from 2012-2018 and it rode so smooth. We live in an area with quite a bumpy road and you can barely feel it when driving. We had the platinum edition which made the interior and exterior really nice with the chrome features outside, and wood grain on the inside. I loved having the speedometer on the windshield because it makes it really convenient not having to look down and check the speed. Overall, this was my favorite car to have!

Great car. Lots of power. Fun to drive. Beautiful car. Rides and handles like a sport car. Great sound system. Very quite and solid. Big trunk.

This car meets all my needs in a sedan. Roomy interior and smooth drive. Very luxurious plus turbo speed. Fun to drive and easy to handle. All the bells and whistles

Typical caddy luxury, very comfortable, reliable. Bought the car with about 20K miles on it, and selling it at 108K. No major problems other than normal wear out items such as brakes. Only objection is that is so low to the ground, it is tough to change the oil, but that is a small thing. Handles great. V6 engine - plenty of power but I'm >60 so don't hot rod as much as younger drivers probably.

Very nice delivery of power when i need it ! Drives and handles very-very well a delight to drive in the city or long trips!
