Drives like a dream

Very nice on my back of a fused lumbar, amazing features and very safe and easy to drive. No blind spots and I don't have to twist my back to see all around the vehicle.

A step up from BMW X Series

I had driven 3 BMW X3s for the last 9 years. I test drove a XT5 and decided right then to get one. Far more comfortable, especially on long drives. Handling is at least on par with the BMW, visibility is roughly the same. No complaints about acceleration and mileage on the road is in the 24-26 MPG range. Roomy interior including the rear seat. Impressive and distinctive styling. My main complaint is the Cue control/display arrangement. I think the touch screen control takes my eyes off the road for too long. I'm glad I took that test drive.

The smoothest ride ever

From the moment you get in the car, you know what Cadillac is about! Keyless start and doors, using just a fob, everything greets you. Push button start, kind of weird shifter with side button.

2017 Cadillac XT5

This is my wife's car and she loves, loves it. It has exceeded her/our expectations in the year we have had it, but we have had 2 recalls so far, hopefully we won't have too many more. Beautiful styling and drives very nice on a few trips we've taken so far.

Very Disappointed

I owned 3 (2010, 2012 & 2014) Cadillac SRXs before I leased the XT5. If I never drove those cars my rating for the XT5 would have been higher. But the SRX was so much more car for a lot less money. The XT5 drives about the same as the SRX but the SRX is more luxurious. It felt more robust too. The interior of the XT5 is a lot less luxurious as the SRX. In all the car is a disappointment especially considering it cost $5,000 more than the same SRX model. I wish I had kept my SRX.

Decent upgrade from previous model.

Reverse and park gear shift positions are unnecessarily different. Cue infotainment system is improved from past model but would like to see knob for volume control. Current setup makes driver take eyes off the road. Power and handling are good. Wish Cadillac wreath emblems were maintained. Almost seems like ashamed to show vehicle is a Cadillac...

My First Impression is Very Positive

I love everything about this car. Comfort, very quiet, smooth ride, interior and exterior design, performance. I am rating 5 stars reliability with some reservations, as I bought my XT5 brand new, but with very good warranty. The gas mileage on average 22 mpg. Dash board is very user friendly and pleasantly designed. Cadillac XT5 CUE is very easy to use. Very spacious trunk.
