2017 Cadillac XT5 consumer reviews

I had a 2014 SRX which I liked a lot. I bought the XT5 for design and more bells and whistles. But I do not like the engine stopping when you come to a complete stop. I have found by pumping the brakes it sometimes does not shut down the engine.I only have 300 miles so I really cant judge the reliability.

Bought 2010 new, loved it except the 3.0 engine. Luxury model while with tan interior. Just sold that car and bought a 2017 XT5 Luxury model White with Tan interior. Engine is great with plenty of power fit and finish is perfect. I was a little disappointed that Cadillac trimmed a few options from the luxury model I purchased before like: no cd player, sill plates no longer have a light in them, there is no longer a horizontal interior dash trim light, tan interior no longer offered in tan headliner with tan carpet only in black. Front seats need a little more attention to front bottom bolsters, (need more padding). Except for the dashboard the whole interior seemed a little cheaper.. I do not like the steering wheel option of leather wrapped heated the 2010 had a wood/leather steering wheel I liked more. I have to save the car drives great, seems to be quieter, same gas millage even though it has a bigger engine, Bose system sounds great, (I hate it has no built in cd),

This car has exceeded our all of our expectations! It has an unbelievable ride and safety features. We can not begin to describe the fabulous technology which is incorporated into the vehicle. It is worth more than the price. We encourage all of you to test drive the car. It is well worth your valuable time!

My XT5 is a fantastic car. It is comfortable to get in and out of while not a truck. I am 72 and comfort is important. I get lots of looks from people with its styling . The smart screen was impressive and everything is hands free.It drives like a much smaller car while having the feel of a full size SUV under you. The basic model comes with all the bells and whistles that are add on's for many other cars. It is a great value.

A very well thought out vehicle . Exterior and interior design are excellent. Car drives smoothly. No boxy SUV feel. A luxury car that takes regular gas. Right up there with BMW ,Mercedes etc

Drove it non-stop at maximum speeds out of the showroom for 750 miles to Florida. The quiet ride, handling, interior comfort, special features like automatic start-stop, power and gas mileage made the trip most enjoyable. I recommend this car to everyone. This is a special vehicle! It is my first Cadillac purchase. Also have a 2014 E350 Mercedes Blue Tec, another great car.
