It has electrical issues, passenger windows and seats keep blowing fuses, makes a winning noise in radio when truck is running, put keys in ignition and turn on hear a crackling noise if anything comes on like seatbelts warning it makes a winning noise in dashboard also if start motor and lights comes on at dark they will blink and alternator usually charges at 14, sometimes will charge way over and times will charge way under, it not the alternator cause I've replaced it twice

Pros: Great to carry 4x8 ft plywood/sheetrock in any weather, or reconfigure and carry passengers in the large back row. Great for light construction projects. Cons: Rusting parts underneath. .

Always felt safe and comfortable. Owned for 13 years with no issues. Amenities were great! Leather held up very well. Great stereo! Can't beat Bose!

I really like this truck. Exterior and interior looks great. I have plenty of space. Love being able to use the bed and tow things if necessary. It's also nice to help people out when they are moving or need to tow something.

THE VEHICLE IS SPOTLESS AND DRIVES PERFECTLY! EVERYTHING FUNCTIONS PROPERLY. PAINT JOB WAS GOOD, AND SHINY, FULL METAL DOOR PANELS AND HEADLIGHTS WERE CLEARS AND I LOVE THIS TRUCK

Get for all my truck needs. From towing the boat and having secure area for all the lake toys. To the ultimate vehicle for the drive-in movies. And with the add on tent that extends the bed to an awesome area for 2 with DVD movies, and A/C inside..... simply great!

This vehicle is one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. On the fly 4x4, or fully auto. Lots of interior space. The ability to turn the entire truck into a camping rig.. or an enclosed utility rig. Great all round multi use vehicle.

Smooth riding and quiet. It takes only seconds to convert it to being able to haul 4'x8' sheets, or 8' (or even 10') boards with the tailgate closed! Yet, it's not as long as most pickups, so it's easier to handle. There are so many design features on the Avalanche that are actually useful that it makes you wonder what some designers are thinking on other vehicles! Simple things like well-designed cup holders that securely hold different sizes, sensible places for things like pens and cell phones, and dash controls that are intuitive. You can't leave ANY light on to drain the battery...the vehicle will shut any of them off automatically - and that was on my 2005. And of course, there's only one Avalanche design, very cool and unique... sorry but the Honda Ridgeline is a pale comparison - both in design and power.

This car never ceases to fail me. Truck with 4wd, strong engine, adjustable to any lifestyle, and a sporty but tough look. Despite the year, it is a truck that still turns heads.

I have a 2005 Chevy Avalanche LT 2500, love the truck it has the hard plastic all around. After awhile the plastic fades to a grayish color. I used a heat gun (4 hours) and it turned the light gray/gray to the factor black. No damage and it doesn't loose the texture.
