Peaceful Car

I bought it new Jan 2007, the engine is rough when you need it and have to be puched hard to accelerate. the Aveo 2007 is heavy and needs more engine power. its height is too much wich is make it 1) More vulnerable to the cross wind, especially at the highways, and passing trucks. 2) if it lower it will look much better. But over all its avery nice city car.

3 months old with major engine defect!

I bought a 2007 Chevy Aveo Hatchback on November14,2006....it is now February 20,2007 and my car has been in the repair shop for 8 days now! At first they thought it was the lifters that failed...so they replaced all of them...As if that wasn't bad enough...the car was still making the same "ticking" noise that it had been...now they think it's the # 1 cylinder...something about a rod knocking..I am not a mechanic but I know IT's NOT GOOD! So I am stuck with a brand new car with major defects! It also handles very poorly in the wind...the car moves from side to side and it sounds like the car is hitting the frame or something. The noise inside the car (from the outside world) is quite noisy. The stereo only has speakers in the front so you don't get the surround sound that you'd hope for...and there is only one internal light...so the back seats are always in the dark. I am very disappointed with this car...and it was my first BRAND NEW CAR. The only good thing is the gas mileage.

Very Good! Subcompact

I took a good look at the field of compacts for sale this model year, and the 07 Chevy Aveo was the class leader in overall value for the money. The interior & exterior styling are best in class. The ride & handling are very good for a compact car. While this is no sports car, I have found the performance to meet my needs. The car is zippy around town and the car performs better at highway cruising than the previous models. I have found the car to be no more or less effected by crosswinds and passing trucks than any larger cars I have driven. If you keep this car in it's proper context as a subcompact you should have little to complain about.

The Best Car Ever

Very good car until it reached below freezing temperatures and then the starter and engine started acting up. And Ive only had it for a month. Other than that, the best thing ever. Thats why theres a warranty, right!!!

WHAT A GREAT CAR.

TRADED MY VOLKS IN AND AM I GLAD.THE MILAGE IS GREAT. HANDLING AND ROOM IS OUTSTANDING. I WOULD IMAGINE LIKE ALL CHEVY CARS IT WILL RUN UNTIL IT DROPS. I LOOKED TO TRADE UP FROM MY 04 VOLKS JETTA. WHAT I REALLY LIKE IS NOT ONLY THE STYLING BUT THE OVERAL EASE OF OPERATIONS. BUY IT YOU WIL;L LIKE IT.

GM Did Awesome!

General Motors spent alot of time making and redesigning the new 2007 Aveo. I researched and found that this is the best car for the money; and its cool, sporty style makes driving it fun. It has so much room inside you forget you are driving an economy car. Way to go GM, you blew away Toyota's and Honda's 2007 economy cars.
