2010 Chevrolet Camaro consumer reviews

I have had a 2010 Camaro V6 since my senior year of high school (2013) till currently (2017). As a 18 year old kid I drove the car like an 18 year old. The drivability of the car was a blast and with a few minor upgrades to the car (exhaust and intake). I am 6'2 and it was a little difficult at first to judge the amount of room you have in front of the car when trying to park. The car was fine up until 100,000 miles, the trans started to click when moving it into reverse and drive. This could be my fault because of how hard I drove it. The car did fine in the snow with the help of the big tires in the rear. The work that needs to be done on the car (Tires, oil, filter, rotation, battery, ect.) is expensive. The interior is bland and does not have many unique features. All in all a great first sport/muscle car!

Enjoy life young and learn! This car I got when I was a senior in high school and learned some valuable things as a young adult entering the real world. You must respect the roads, but also have fun. This car has taught me to spend my money wisely since now I am paying for it but it's all worth it if you treat it right

The car is fast and looks really nice! I like the way it has the shift peddles on the steering wheel!

When I was looking for a car I didn't know that this app would help me find the right car for me. This app made me buy my 2010 Camaro 2ss, and I can tell you it's been the best car I've had so far.

This has been a very unreliable vehicle for me. The timing chains (Probably should last the life of the vehicle) were initially replaced at about 35,000 miles and again are having issues at 70,000 miles. Seems to be a manufacturing issue from GM. Technical Service Bulletins have been released on it and GM has extended coverage under a special program for the same motor for other vehicles. My vehicle is now out of warranty and GM customer service feels as though the timing chains are normal wear items and that I am privileged to have driven their superior vehicle for the past six years. What a joke. (All maintenance performed at a certified dealership according to owners manual) I will never recommend or purchase a GM vehicle ever again.

The v6 in manual is pretty alright. Its fast enough, but if iIcould do it all again I would spend 3k more and go with a v8. Gets on average 20 mpg mixed driving. Oh and steering is fantastic, brakes not so much.

I bought my 2010 Camaro SS just before I retired. And I love it. I ordered it with the 6 sp manual with no hesitation or concern about selling it to some kid who doesn't know what to do with the "third pedal." The car is a blast to drive. Since I live in Michigan my Camaro goes into storage in November and doesn't reappear until April. As much as I love my Camaro I don't relish driving it in snow and ice (and salt!). I have no complaints. It's highway fuel economy is actually not bad - sometimes up to 27-28 depending on terrain and speed). My sole complaint is the 1-4 speed skip shift. I hate it. I know it's designed to conserve fuel. I avoid it by starting in 2nd gear. This car has plenty of torque to get started in 2nd gear. And I'm aware that there is a device available for sale on the Internet that plugs into the trans that defeats the skip shift feature. Well worth whatever it's selling for. Not a lot of luggage space but, hey, this ain't a Suburban. I love my Camaro!!

Purchased this car to fill the void of getting rid of my Trailblazer SS. It's a great all around modern-day muscle car. Plenty of torque, the 6 speed is a riot, and tons of aftermarket. The newer cars have better features like HUD and MyLink, but for the first year 2010, it's not bad.

I have a 2010 Chevy Camaro SS and I must say I am thoroughly impressed by the sexy exterior design, comfortable interior and power under the hood. I freakin' love this car and enjoy driving it every day. If you want power, dont waste your time with the RS. Just get the SS. Smooth shifting, heated seats (even for your back its heated, not just your bum), leather wrapped steering wheel. leather seats, & retro guages on the center console. This vehicle even helps alert you on the dash and audibly at a certain speed limit if you exceed it to avoid getting caught by the police for a speeding ticket. Chevy did a nice job bringing back a classic to the present times. Thumbs way up!
