Sharp, fast and fun to drive!

This car is no grocery better, at least not the one I have. This is a rally yellow, Cobalt Coupe SS. The look is amazing with the rally yellow paint job, 17in. Alloy wheels, electric moon roof, rear spoiler and more. Then inside; black bucket seats, sporty looking dashboard with sports speedometer, power everything stick shift with leather wrapping leather-wrapped steering wheel and more. The convenience factors are great too with keyless entry and all the perks of that not to mention the alarm system that keeps us safe while I'm parking it out somewhere. Then we get to the real cool factor. The way it drives. This car hugs the road when you turn that will even a millimeter it's going to respond to you you literally feel like an extension of the vehicle especially with the 6-speed manual transmission, talk about acceleration. The super sport is made with any hydraulic clutch and hydraulic gear box. This really didn't mean that much to me at first but once I learned the subtle differences and handling this type of clutch the results were amazing. Not to recommend speeding, but I can be from 0 to 60 within 4 houses from my driveway. Just an overall economical, beautiful and fun fast car to drive can't say enough great things about the Cobalt Coupe SS.

We love ourCobalt, must have car

I bought my Cobalt bew in 2006.. Several years ago I had an accident and had to have a new engine. 170K miles later and I am still driving my baby. She is orange, 2door with high spoiler. Sporty and zippy. I still love this car. I keep it maintained and hope to have it for many more years. If you have a chance to own one, I highlyt recommend this car. MNy daughter learned how to drive in this car and now shares it with me. It is incredibly reliable, economical, gets fantastic gas milage. Has lots of space, very comfortable. I can't say enough. Great car.

Fun to drive, 30mpg Ave., and reliable.

The SS SC Cobalt is sporty inside and out. Mine had the black and red leather and it was comfortable. I drove it nicely most times which gave me an average of 30 or 31 mpg. I loved this car. The only thing it needed was front wheel bearings after 100k. I owned it up to 150k.

An okay car

The car itself has a number of issues. My unlock button on my remote stopped working shortly after the vehicle was purchased. The other buttons work just fine with the exception of that one. Any time I open my doors with the key, the alarm goes off. I try not to lock my doors, especially when I don't want to wake the neighbors. When I push the gas pedal, I will say that there is a delay before the car will actually go. It is almost like a slight stall and then the car accelerates. My hood latch is also nearly completely rusted through, therefore making it a severe safety hazard. My car has had issues since I have gotten it.
