Reliable
Good gas mileage, reliable, great price and comfort to drive. It can carry up to 5 passengers. I paid a fair price without any trades.

purchased new
Purchased vehicle brand new in 2007 28 miles on it. It was the first vehicle for my wife, good on gas, nice looking car very affordable. It was uncomfortable for me as a man driving it ad I would always switch positions trying to find comfort in the drivers seat. It was eventually traded in because we needed a bigger vehicle for kids.

The most fun car I've ever broken
My 2007 Cobalt SS was the best car I've ever broken. I bought it in march of 2016, as my first manual transmission car. It was about 200 miles from my house and taking it home was an adventure all on its own. The next day was the real trip though. Taking it down to San Antonio, Texas from Kansas, then down to South Padre for Spring Break. This car was the best way to learn a 5 speed gearbox. Burning out the clutch was my fault though. (taking a new to me car on a 1000 mile trip wasn't smart.) The repair on it was around $1200 parts and labor. So not terrible for a supercharged car clutch replacement. The end of 2016 is where I really had my sad times though. Blowing the head gasket on one of these cars is not a common thing to run into, so don't let me scare you. But it was all my fault anyways! This car is something I had dreamt of as a high school kid, wanting some exciting car to impress chicks. So I would recommend buying one of these cars if you ever get the chance, just don't do what I did, pushing it 110% 120% of the time you drive it.

Sweet Ride - Trouble Free
Vehicle was bought as a 'commute car' with low expectations. Turns out the car has been trouble free and a solid fun ride. My LT trim was a manual transmission and 15 inch tires.

Worked great
We owned this car for several years and it ran perfectly. It would likely still be going today if it hadn't been for my mother forgetting to put oil in it and blowing the motor out of it.

Love my Chevy Cobalt
This little car is great! I bought mine used and had to have some work done with it, but it has been 100% worth it. It gets great gas mileage and is extremely reliable. It might not be a luxury vehicle but it sure is a great little car with lots of life! It also does great in the winter as long as you have quality tires, which is important where I live. I have a feeling that after the one I currently have is done, I will purchase another but newer Chevy Cobalt.

Total throw away car!
Great if bought new or low mileage used without problems. I bought it with 143k miles, $700 total. Average in look, so simple and plain interior, problem after problem. These cars are not made to last a long time, even if you take care of it like the manual suggests, they are made cheap, sold cheap, and meant to be a temporary vehicle until you can upgrade hopefully before everything starts messing up.
