Great commuting economy car!!!

I have owed it for 2 years...yes accidents happen so a little few almost unnoticeable dings need to be fixed. ..however overall the car hasn't had any problems. .the recall ignition was changed so it is now safe to say that the problem is fixed although it was running fine beforehand anyway. Great on gas..needs air conditioning refill...which will be done...good economy car...worth at least 2890$.

Cheap reliable gas saver with a little bit of step

The Cobalt is great for anybody wanting to save on gas. Easily getting 22-30 MPG in the city and 35+ on the highway. It is easy on the eyes on the outside, but it is very simplistic and somewhat boring on the inside. It also has a little step to it as well. The base model engine being rated around 140hp and torque and weighing around only 2,900 pounds it can put down some power for a little commuter. The last great thing about this car that it is very easy to work on mechanically.

Good First Starter Car!

Overall great starter. Problems with speakers and that's it. Great mpg and sporty look! I've replaced the stock speakers with new Pioneers, which was a project that took a little over an hour and that's it. Haven't had issues with anything else. A seriously nice car that is cheap, with a wide range of tuning if that's your forte. Overall a great experience with my Chevy Cobalt!

Awesome care for the price

Great gas mileage at a time when it was really needed. Never had any real issues with the vehicle and the body has held up extremely well.

Great on gas and drives excellent.

I purchased a 2007 Chevy cobalt and was in a need of a car.At first I wasn't sure about looking at this car because of the recalls on the 2005 to 2010 models that cause a lot of crashes the past but after looking in the cabin and test driving it I was amazed on the great quality of this vehicle .

Good, basic transportation

I have an LT. Good little car, great on gas, cheap and low maintenance. If you take care of it, it will take care of you. Just make sure that if you get one that the dealership has already repaired the recall issue with the ignition switch for this make/model/year. Would be a great first car to learn on; very simple and straightforward. Factory system is good. Remote starter is awesome. Only thing I'd add to it is cruise control.

Sporty and cute. Runs terrific.

This car is maintained very well. Husband is a mechanic. Regular oil changes. Zippy little car. Quite useful too. Back seat drops down for lugging large items. Great car for graduation gift.

Great value for the money

The Cobalt is a great car for a low price. i've had very few issues and have had to spend very little to maintain it. the throttle is very responsive and has a surprising amount of power for being a 4 cylinder.

2007 Chevrolet Cobalt SS

The Cobalt SS is a very good looking sports car that is not only reliable but provides great performance while maintaining good gas mileage. I love this car because it gives you a sporty look and feel when you drive it. The steering wheel feels very firm and tight in your hands when you drive, giving you good control when turning and cornering. The suspension provides a rather stiff ride when handling bumps however the overall ride is very smooth when cruising on regular roads and highways. The Cobalt comes with performance Perelli P6 tires that grip the road great and are good for all weather conditions. The interior is very simple and sleek. It offers decent dash panel styling which is pretty basic. The dashboard and entertainment cluster are very easy to read and adjust, nothing is over the top. The trunk has a small opening to it which makes it hard to store larger items however provides a great amount of cargo space on the inside. The Pioneer sound system is another great feature on the car, providing great sound quality and a very strong bass presence from the built in 10" Pioneer sub woofer. Overall this car is an excellent bang for your buck car.
