Not too bad, now.

My first surprise was: the "anti tamper" device had to be bypassed. would not start without waiting 10 minutes for device reset, like, every 3rd or 4th start. Was frustrating! (POOR design GM)! Tip of the day. Never buy a truck previously owned by a young person. I did. Had to do a lot of rework. Spare tire was laying in the bed. Had to replace spare tire winch. (Another "poor" GM design). Had to remove all the blackout to be legal. I've had the truck 4 months, 3500 miles now and keeping my fingers crossed. Hope all is well now. Odometer says 44,000 miles. I don't believe that either. The reasons I bought it though, it RIDES GOOD, HANDLES GOOD, RUNS GOOD. Was well Kept, LOOKS LIKE NEW inside and out. Gets lots of compliments!!! Recommended it below but, skeptical? Had a 1994 Ls S10 4.3, for 20 years and 178.000 miles and loved it! Was totaled in 2014:O( Colorado 4 Cyl. gas mileage is high, close to S10 V6 mileage.

Good truck for the money

This vehicle is needed for every winter I drive in Michigan. I use this vehicle instead of my 2010 Camaro. The truck is nicely styled but the motor is a bit weak for me. The trade off in mileage is acceptable though. I would like to see a better audio package, but the aftermarket will take care of that. The interior is comfortable and quiet.

Chevy trucks run forever

I have had this car for over a year and I bought it because my previous Chevy truck bit the dust after 16 years and 187k miles. The truck has been great, reliable (just like I would expect from any Chevy truck), and great to drive. The 5 cylinder engine gives so much more power than the old 4 cylinder in my last truck while still maintaining good mpg. It is a great looking truck that I hope will work for someone else just as well as it has worked for me. I am selling this because I have used my old truck as a project that is now complete and has been brought back to life.

Go ahead and get a full size truck.

It?s awkwardly boxy and I had the most repairs ever with a Chevrolet. Almost as many as a ford ranger I used to own. Never again for either.

Under Powered

The truck was very under powered and it did not have a lot of features. There are better trucks out there for similar price that offer more.

Regret buying this

I don't know if I just got a bad one. The transmission went out about 6 months after I bought it, luckily I purchased. The extended warranty. However the check engine light has been going on and off since I purchased it. Now 10 months after getting the transmission and U-joints replaced, my fuel pump went out. The warranty company will pay for the fuel pump, but not the other parts that have to be replaced because they are completely rusted. And they said shocks looks original and probably need replaced and one of the u-joints is lose. Not happy with the truck, the dealership, or the extended warranty company.

Not a bad truck for the price

I bought a wt model and it doesn't have any features but I like it like that. It's been pretty reliable but the four cylinder engine is way under powered even with me adding a cold air intake. Helps a little but still not enough and on top of it the fuel mileage sucks for a four cylinder.
