1993 Chevrolet Corvette consumer reviews

This is a great show car. Drives fast. Has 130,000 miles, approximately 5,000 a year. We have restored the car to about 90%. Needs new rubber seals and battery. Tags are up to date.

What a great car, nice ride, and an awesome price. This car is fun and always getting compliments, I'm always have fun while out driving this one.

Strong engine and a great looking car. Enough torque to spin the back wheels if you want. Very reliable American sports car. I would buy again.

Awesome No other sports cars come close.I have owned 4 corvettes The styling ,handling,performance is unbeatable. Chevolet LT1 is still a performer. Quick responce and reliability . The corvette is a GM icon well done.

Vette is in mint condition 10,500 Clean inside and out, own by a. Older guy who owns a Detailing auto shop. This will definitly sell fast.

Vehicle is nice and handles corners well. Has a fast get up but gas can be costly. So far this vehicle has been reliable and a chick magnet.

This car looks good. And it drives good. You won?t go wrong buying this car. We have put 18,000 in this car. Only asking 10,000.

I bought this car because of it's beauty, and styling. I think it to be the most beautiful Corvette to date. And the last generation that still looks like a Corvette. I chose this C-4 because it was free of the problems and weight of a fiberglass body. It's handling and performance was superb. I had dreamed since I was big enough to walk of owning a Corvette. Much to my disappointment, I found out that the '92 & '93's are nothing more than a Corvette body on a computer designed to fail. I wanted to drive a Corvette, not a computer. Had I wanted to drive a computer, I would have bought a Dell and put wheels on it. I would have better equipment. These 92's & 93's have an ECM that is exclusive only to these two year models. They are designed to fail and they all do. The problem is they will not interchange with any other model. GM has not produced new ones for years. No one has rebuilt units to repair them. And although several companies advertise having remans, I only found one company that still rebuilds this ECM's, and they wanted me to send them my unit, and give them a blank check to fix it. That company being Cardone. So now I have a beautiful, worthless yard ornament that can't be repaired. If I was stupid enough to give these people a blank check to repair this, and provided they didn't run me up a bill to look it over and send it back saying they couldn't fix it,(which has happened). And they did actually fix it. It is still designed to fail, and might run 5 min, 5 days, or 5 years before I get my yard ornament back. My only feasible options considering it has already almost bankrupted me, is to part it out and dump it, or gut it completely out, and go back with a L-98 and a MSD box. The only thing a '92 or '93 is good for is parts for the others. A vintage Corvette that won't run has no value, and are expensive yard ornament. Don't get taken on either of these.

Dollar for dollar it is hard to beat the C4 Corvette. It is comfortable and fast. Cockpit is like a jet fighter and a joy to drive. Once the common C4 issues are tended to, the vehicle is extremely reliable. Nothing beats pop up headlights!
