We are loving our new to us Corvette

We recently purchased a used, 2017 Corvette Stingray. It is a beautiful car and had been well taken care of by the previous owner. So far we are loving it.

My 6th Corvette

Trey and the staff at Harper were excellent throughout the entire process. Its a Grand Sport Corvette..What else can I say??? Awesome car! This is my 6th Corvette. At 81 I still enjoy the ultra performance of the Corvette.

Everyday supercar

I have a 2017 Grand Sport that I purchased used with very low mileage (2200). I have spent time on road courses on several motorcycles as well as a number of high performance vehicles. I used to live near many mountain roads as well, and greatly enjoyed driving and riding on them for many years. I love vehicles that handle well. Much to the surprise of my friends, I bought my first and only GM - the C7 GS. I have owned many competitive products over the years, and most who know me would have bet that I'd have bought a Viper over the Vette. I've been in the paddock with the Oreca Viper Team and nearly secured a position as a technical liaison between Chrysler and the FIA Viper team back in the late 90s before we pulled all our money out of FIA to get back into NASCAR. Truth be told, I love them both but the Vette market is far better right now for price and availability. The Grand Sport simplified, is a Z06 without the supercharger (and the additional 100 lbs it adds to the nose). 11" front and 12" rear wheel widths, giant brakes (Brembos with 2 piece rotors or optional carbon ceramics), track oriented magride suspension and enough coolers to keep from boiling any fluid in the car during a track day in Texas in August. The brakes are tied with my memories for ANY car on street tires that I've ever ridden in or driven. They're just that good. They're good enough to coax some pretty amusing grunts out of passengers while you're demonstrating the insane deceleration abilities, usually followed up by a disbelieving shake of their head and some choice expletives. Though some pick on the steering feedback as being somewhat sterile when pushed, that's a subjective opinion that I don't personally share. I click with this car - it goes where I point it, and behaves predictably when it starts to step out. It's truly a fantastic chassis that they did a great job tuning and honing for this package. The powertrain may not have all the cylinders of its contemporaries or redline at 10K, but it makes amends by giving you something that many others do not. Torque for starters. There is big block level grunt from idle on up to the 6500 redline. Picked the wrong gear? No worries, it'll still pull you out. Accidentally leave a stoplight in 3rd instead of 1st? (yes, I'm a manual trans guy and I love my 7 speed) It might take you a minute to even realize your mistake, because the clutch doesn't even chatter let alone kill the engine. Reliability? Also not an issue. Just another well-sorted version of the LS motor that can be repaired by a dealer network that exists everywhere you could think of driving. And probably the biggest surprise, fuel economy. On the highway in 7th gear, the instant economy number is very often sitting in the neighborhood of 30mpg or more. So what are the downsides? Not much really. The interior may not be on par with an Italian exotic that cost an extra 3 or 4 hundred thousand dollars, but it's nice. It's not lacking in my opinion for the price of the car, and the leather door panels and dash look great. The targa top removal (carbon fiber roof is light enough to handle by youself) and storage is well though out and delightfully easy. The footwells are roomy and the pedal placement is comfortable and right where you want them (LOVE Vipers, but that's one area that was always a compromise in regard to the leftward pedal placement). Only downside for me is getting in and out. It's low, no surprise there. The combination of seat bolsters, the edge of the instrument panel and nothing to easily grab or prop on can make your exits a little clumsy sometimes, but who cares? The driving experience more than makes up for that. In summary, these cars lived up to the hype for me. I don't buy a fun car to park in the garage and never drive. I buy them because they ARE fun to drive, and do so every chance I get. To be able to spend roughly 50-60K for a used Grand Sport that can hang with or best exotics that costs 5-10 times more and beats them in serviceability, reliability and maintenance cost is a major no-brainer to me. What could possibly be better than having a supercar that you can drive every day and not lose sleep over the next $3000 oil change or getting a rock chip? I had a guy last week tell me that he loved my Ferrari :D He was more than a little surprised when I told him it was a Chevy. These things have the looks with the performance to back it up.

Unbelievable performance and style for the money. This is my 5th Corvette and they hit the ball out of the park with this one. Definitely go for the grand sport model 20 times nicer than the base stingray

Great Car

I purchases the Z51 Stingray 2LT. The car is amazing plenty of power and turns so many heads. I bought it used with only 7300 miles. It still had twelve month of factory warranty. I recommend finding a car with factory warranty just to give you that piece of mind!

owned 3 Corvettes...this is Best

I'm confident this is "the"car my wife and I will enjoy sharing in retirement for many years to come. When the national emergency created by C-19 has passed our fun road trips will begin.

This is one beast of an automobile!

The Z06 is second to none! I purchased this very low mileage car that I found surfing one evening when I was bored. This performance exceeded my expectations, the color I get compliments all the time, it rides good and is comfortable for being the ultimate sports car. I couldn't be happier.
