I love this vehicle! I loved my 14 Chevy Cruze and was sad to get rid of it but I absolutely love the 18 cruze I bought today.

Love the Cruze. Too bad GM discontinued it.
This is the R/S model with standard engine, transmission etc. it has excellent acceleration. The starter went out at 11,400 miles. And the transmission seems to “slip” from 1st-2nd gear and 2nd-3rd when it’s cold. Dealer says all normal! I say BS! Other than these two issues, I love the car. Great gas mileage! Not a fan of the auto start-stop especially when you can’t disengage it.

Auto stop problem
I purchased my 2018 Cruze in October 2019 , I'm a Lyft driver after 7 days of driving sitting at a traffic light in auto stop the car wouldn't start back up. The Chevrolet dealership replaced starter, fuse block , wire to fuse block and wire from fuse block to starter. After driving for 4 days the car did the same thing. After a while the car will eventually start again. Technicians can't figure out why it does. And since it hasn't happened with them , they don't know what is wrong with it. It's the Auto stop.. I love the car . But it's been at dealership for 3 weeks out of the 8 weeks I've had it.

Nothing but trouble
At 14,000 troube with wheels and tires...at 27,000 miles stabiltrak trouble...car shakes at traffic lights and stop signs......check engine light stays on.....misfire was diagnosed...i expected trouble around 60 or 70 thosand miles, not 27....will never buy another chevy.....this vehicle has stressed me out....drve 2 miles and park, the cooling fan comes on....no spare tire.....tire pressure is always crazy and off...took it to a tire center and had to buy new tire on a new car,...this car is a headache and i cant afford to pay it off and buy another so im stuck with this nightmare for four more years.

Great mileage With Minimum Maintenance
Fuel economy is an important factor to consider when buying a new car, even when gas prices are down—they won't stay that way forever. A vehicle with good braking and emergency handling can help you avoid an accident.
