Love it or hate it Chevy Impala still be made now on 9th generation I bought a 09 witch is 8th generation impala 2lt with 3.9 with 4t65e transmission so far only may problem I and few other unluck soul have had is transmission witch is 1 most expensive part to repair or replace on car beside motor and even that cheaper besides that in have had 30000 miles of dependability up til transmission witch hasn't effected enough people to get recall witch Chevy should be responsible for all all if that wasn't problem I'd say still one the better cars gm still makes

Would never buy again

I constantly have problems with this car. Never had this many repairs with all the cars I?ve owned, combined, and I?m 50 years old. Too many to list here. And I?m frustrated because I?m good about keeping my car maintained. Every problem I?ve had I?ve googled that countless other owners experience too.

Reliagle

This is a decent comfortable mid-size sedan that makes a good daily driver to commute to and from work. The size of the car feels safe if I were ever involved in an accident.

Most reliable car I've ever owned

Awesome car with tons of leg room. Smoother than other cars and well equipped with car accessories making your drive that much smoother. It is a wonderful car!

Great vehicle

It's a great car. It has great acceleration and decent fuel economy. It is perfect for small families and has a large trunk for plenty of storage.

Impala owner

Bought this car 8 years ago used. I live up north and it has held up great! The winters aren't easy on any vehicle but this car has been so reliable through the years. The trunk is huge and it's a bigger sedan. It's not luxury but it's required very little maintenance for us and I'll call that a win.
