Powerful, Smooth and Modern Interior

I was looking for a roomy car with good gas mileage. The Impala is a full-size car that offers a four-cylinder so I took a look. I discovered that the gas mileage was almost as good in the six-cylinder so that is what I tested and ultimately purchased. This car drives like butter. You can feel the power by simply touching the accelerator. The steering is very light at low speeds for easy parking but stiffens up perfectly for higher speeds. The interior appears more modern and curvy to me than competitors like Ford. The cabin is very quiet and the legroom is exceptional. The trunk is class leading but I haven’t needed that yet. The Android Auto works well once you figure out how to use it and the best-hidden feature of the car is the hidden compartment behind the entertainment screen that is lockable with a lock code. It’s called Valet mode so find a video somewhere and check that out, you’re welcome.

Nice car, so far, poor dealership

Car meets our needs and is comfortable. What do we do if we misplace our one key fob? Dealership should have at least answered our calls about the key fob they promised us. How can we have any confidence in their service?

Wonderful car!

This car is very comfortable for the two people in the front seats. I do not like the console, but it appears that all new cars have them. We have taken two long road trips in this car and just love it! One trip was down to Texas and up and over to Ohio and then back home again. We are not tired when we are through driving for the day. It is peppy and so far, we have gotten anywhere from 31.7 to 34.99 mpg on the road. It is pretty on the outside and the running lights are beautiful. We have had several compliments from people at gas stations and other places about how beautiful the car is. We are very, very thrilled with it.

Almost a 5 star review but...

Almost gave it a 5 star if it wasn't for the fact that at 25k miles I had to get the AC evaporator core replaced on my 2018 Impala LT. THANK God this was covered under warranty. However coming from a Camry this did leave an unsettling feeling in my stomach about GM quality. If I can look past this bad experience, I must admit I love this car! The v6 acceleration, performance, handling, styling, smooth ride, interior etc.. is second to none. I hope the AC is the last of my problems. Oh yeah gas mileage is not bad at all for a big car 20-21 mpg combined and 25 highway.

Great car for the money!

This car is great. It meets all my needs, has plenty of legroom (I'm 6'5") and I tested several other makes & models. Seems like every manufacturer is getting out of the full size business. This car has an outstanding stereo system, smooth ride and great acceleration.

A Piece of Americana!

I’ve come full circle I guess! Owned a 1967 Impala...loved it! Recently purchased a 2018 Chevy Impala Premier, V6 302hp. This car is big, comfortable, fully loaded! Chevrolet nailed it...finally. Great car! (FYI) Dealer let me know that Chevrolet is discontinuing the Impala after the 2019 model year!

Smooth ride. Handles well. Very good. Recommend to anyone. Good gas mileage. Nice interior, but needs to have a CD player/Cassette player. Radio not enough.
