Love this little truck

I bought it used and looked into numbers that this little 03 S10 has a regular LS step side extended body , it caught my eye because it had a SS hood and a Extreme front and back bumpers. After buying it i looked up numbers to find out that it has a SS drive train along with possi, and a Extreme chasse . Love that parts are everywhere.

Love my S10!

I got my 03 S10 in 2018 with only 49k miles on it from the original owner and i absolutely love it! It has 75k miles on it now but still runs the same as the day i bought it. With the leer fiberglass bed cover and dual Flowmaster pipes it definitely stands out from the others even though its the LS model 2wd single cab but with the 4.3 vortec it gets up and goes just fine. I baby her though lol, ive only done regular routine maintenance like oil changes, clean the k&n air filter, fuel filter, transmission and coolant flush. Things you have to do for every car/truck but other than that i haven't done anything and it just runs like a top. Never left me stranded and has always fired right up like it's brand new. I gotta say its not the best road trip truck but no one buys a s10 for long trips lol back and forth to work and errands around town i couldn't be happier! I definitely trust it for long trips but im 6'1 so it gets pretty uncomfortable after 4 or 5 hours of continuous driving so we just use our Toyota camry for trips. Gas mileage is average i suppose, 17-19 mpg so im not complaining. I have nothing but great things to say about this truck! I get compliments almost every time i drive it so thats a plus lol. If you can pick a s10 up im sure you won't regret it!

Workhorse at a value price.

I got a lot of things accomplished with this truck. I found that you really don't need a full size truck to accomplish 99.9% of the work that a regular family requires. I hauled brush moved refrigerators and completed home renovations out of this truck. Very happy with it.

For a step down vehicle, pretty dang good

Is a “step down“ vehicle, from a Chevy Silverado, stepside, five speed owner to my S-10 was hard, but good truck with no major problems…YET.

Very reliable and durable truck!

Owned my truck for 10 years and no major issues, still runs strong with average maintenance upkeep. Serves it purpose as light truck to meet my demands as I dont quite need a mid or full size truck.

Amazing.

It has excellent gas mileage. I haven't had any problems with it since the head gasket was replaced. It lasted at least 126,000 miles on the odometer before needing repair.

Very reliable. Personally maintained thru 18 ye.

At 82, I have owned many vehicles. THIS little truck is quiet, comfortable economical, easily maintained and good looking...like its owner! I would buy another if I find a low mileage unit since this is approaching end of 300,000 KM....no engine, transmission or power train probs. Brakes I have replaced at 210 000km. Great value. Love it.

Great truck

Great truck! Just needs minor repairs. Drives great, new tires on front, 4x4 works, interior looks good, little rust underneath, bedliner. No major mechanical problems.

Great truck that any guy would love to have.

I fit me perfectly. If I wanted to go off road no problem. It worked get on construction jobs. Had the room for my tools and they were safe inside the truck. It has the great power under the hood.

Never buy a 2003 Chevy S-10

This piece of Chevy art work is the worst vehicle I have ever owned. As soon as I remove the engine, tranny, AC and radiator out of to sell on Craigslist. I am going to take it to the junk yard to have it cubed so that the new prez of chebby can place it on her desk in Mexico!
