Very dependable truck

The 2011 Chevrolet Silverado is a very well designed truck. The Silverado rides very smooth and quiet, and it performs very well. I purchased the LT model for work purposes, and the blue tooth and WiFi features are very useful and makes my job much more easier.

Sexy Beast

This truck is a very good truck. It is better than all of its competitors except the Ford F-150. The sad part is that it is 4 years old compared to the 2 year old Dodge Ram and the Chevy is still the better vehicle. The 5.3 liter V8 is a great engine, it is throaty, fast, and fuel efficient for the vehicle type. It feels like you can tow almost anything, which you can. Getting in and out of the truck is a little difficult but just get some Nerf bars and you're fine. There are other countless accessories for this truck from mud flaps to tonneau covers.

Not Bad!

I bought a 2011 crew cab LT 2wd All star edition after my 43,000 mi 2004 Silverado ext cab was totaled in a collision in Jan. It is now August and I have 4,300+ miles on it now and I am very impressed. I have the 5.3 engine like on my previous truck and it is very responsive. Just don't trust the fuel economy ratings, you will avg 15/16 all day long. Just remember it is a truck not a prius. I also have the 6sp auto that is a little noisy and jerkey but the response when you step on the gas is instant. I would buy another someday....

Very nice truck !

Traded in a 2006 Silverado to get a 2011, not much difference, the 2006 was very nice ! The 2011 drives and handles excellent but it is developing some front window wind noise. I ordered an LT with the leather interior because I wanted leather but not all the extras on the higher grade model. Biggest complaint is that the truck sets so high, its looks like a 4 wheeler and not very stylish. Overall, it's a keeper and the wife enjoys driving it just as much !

Surprisingly great truck

I traded in a 2002 Trailblazer LTZ for this new 2011 Silverado. I always liked the Chevy truck, I have an old 1990 Silverado that is still kicking with 328929 miles on it. So buying another Chevy was not an issue. I like the styling of the latest model, and the power, interior room and features are all top notch. I opted for the leather package and have no complaints whatsoever. I hope to continue to enjoy this truck and hope you will too if you chose to get one.

2011 1500 Crew Cab 4X4 Good Solid Truck

I've owned a GMT 400 1988-1998 Model I've owned 4 GMT 800's 1999-2006 Models Each rendition gets better while carrying over the best of the previous model. My new 2011 Silverado is a really good truck. I traded an 06 Extended cab Z-71 for the Crew Cab 2011 Z-71. The mac strut front end and six speed trans are the two features that make this truck waayyy better than my 06. The 5.3 is a great mid level motor that is capable of moving this truck and load without breathing too heavy. Build quality is excellent, I thought this time around about leaving the general for a Dodge or a Ford but at the end of the day, the familiarity with the 5.3 and the way the truck felt and drove swung my vote and my $$'s to the Chevy. It's no longer a cutting edge truck, it gives up some HP to the ford and Dodge, Ford beats everyone in infotainment, but everything in this truck is liveable as a daily driver. My mid-level LT Z-71 has features that I will use everyday, the powertrain is rock solid, the styling is distintinctive and harkens back to the Chevy trucks of the 70's and early 80's. I think it looks a lot like the 81 model. I like that retro, updated design, those were some great trucks. If you're looking for a solid truck, that does almost everything well, that is a good value, though not cutting edge, I don't think you'd go wrong with the Chevy. When my wife's current truck is paid for I'll be getting another one for her.
