I bought this truck to drive back and forth to work 2 to 3 days a week and to haul stuff my wife and mother in law buy. I also bought it to use on the family cattle ranch. I love it. The Texas edition was definitely worth the purchase. The truck drives easy, from the first time I sat in the drivers seat to test drive it felt like I had driven this truck for 15 years. My wife and I compete on who gets up to drive it first. The back seat is roomy. I am 6?3? tall and ride comfortably in the crew cab back seat. The bed is just right. I?d probably throw a mattress back there if the wife puts me in the dog house instead of the guest bedroom. Overall Chevrolet did not let me down. It?s an easy driver, looks great, and feels very safe. I?ll drive it until it won?t go anymore and then I?ll fix it and drive it some more.!

This is my 3rd new Silverado. I wined my last one for almost 8 years with no major repairs needing done. Never even consider a different brand due to the reliability.

Plenty of power, comfort and towing capacity. All I need to do is tint the windows and add a bedliner. Very nice color which should be easy to clean.

This is a roomy vehicle with good interior and exterior cargo space. There are numerous features that will serve my needs well. I look forward to owning it for many years.

The truck is solid and offers a quiet ride. I haven't had it too long yet but I feel very comfortable driving it anywhere. I'm very satisfied with my new truck and look forward to many years of enjoyment.

650 miles in for the first month of ownership and everything is working as it should. First 500 miles are the break in and are supposed to stay under 55 mph. As funny as it sounds, checking the oil can be tricky. I recommend letting it sit for at least 30 minutes (per the manual) but also have the dipstick out of the truck so oil drains out of the dipstick tube. After 30 min, install and remove the dipstick quickly and the reading is very clear. The dipstick is also located pretty far back in the engine bay near the fire wall so this is a slight negative for me (I?m average height 5?10?). I purchased the LT crew cab and would have liked more vents to the back seat, not critical but would have been better. Doors are very tight, my wife keeps having to shut the door again to fully close it. I love the remote start and app on the phone. Still not sure if the key fob app will go away after the free month of OnStar.

I have purchased several of these vehicles over the last decade and every one proved to be a great vehicle to own and drive. The interior is extremely quiet and functional. The interior finishes/materials are top-notch compared to other similar vehicles, and the design/styling is very current and eye-appealing. I absolutely love these vehicles inside and out, their ride and handling is superb, and they are a pleasure to drive. A+ for GM on these trucks!
