My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. The truck is great, gas mileage is only 1-2 less than my Forester which blows my mind. First trip over the weekend and 22+ doing 70+and some around town thrown in.
My only complaints, the wiper controls aren't as friendly as my old Subie but very usable. Checking the oil, I had to get a folding step stool from Harbor Freight to reach the dip stick without rubbing on the side of the truck and I'm 6'2".
Cons are, the huge super quiet cab, large comfy seats, dual A/C controls, fold up rear seats, locking compartments, step bumper side steps, spray in liner, spring assist tail gate, rear view camera, My Link Android phone hook up for google maps, text to voice texts while driving. The list is long. Power and more power, shift on the fly 4WD.

A GREAT experience!

Upon arriving at Currie Motors, we had already put a deposit down to hold a vehicle we saw through the website. We were kindly greeted and immediately seated with Cynthia Ochoa. After explaining what we would potentially like to do she understood and had us test drive the 2017 Malibu we had on hold. After many conversations and additional thoughts we ultimately made our decision on a different Malibu which was an Iridescent Pearl Tricoat instead of the Summit White. The Pearl didn't have a sunroof (which is a must for my wife) but Cynthia explained that we could have one installed at their dealership at a later time. We opted for this route and will be bringing the car back in a few weeks to have the sunroof installed. Had Cynthia not mentioned this to us as an option, we most likely would have left the dealership with a nice new Summit White Malibu instead of the Pearl which my wife absolutely fell in love with. Cynthia never waivered in her commitment to us and we never felt rushed. As the day got longer and we got hungrier she took a few minutes and drove us down the street to get a bite to eat. This was above and beyond for her but was very much appreciated. I would absolutely recommend talking with Cynthia as your salesperson as she stayed patient with us throughout the day. I get online and start searching dealerships and come across Currie. Me and my little family take a trip out to Forest Park to pay them a little visit. I became familiar with Oak Lawn Toyota last December when my daughter purchased my 16 year old grandson his first car in December 2015. She raved about the excellent customer service she received from John Beris. She said he was knowledgeable, honest, efficient, professional and he had provided the best customer service she had ever received. She said, John realized the magnitude of the moment for her buying a car for her son and even took a picture with my grandson handing him his first set of car keys to his "2004 Toyota Corolla S". I heard about Oak Lawn Toyota a second time, when my daughter was in the market for a new truck in May of 2016. Because of the excellent customer service she had previously received, she went back to Oak Lawn Toyota. She said it was like dealing with a member of the family. He took great care of her, and again was the ultimate professional and provided phenomenal customer service. My daughter left very happy in her "2015 Toyota Rav 4". So it was only right when I was in need of a new car this month (August 2016), I immediately called my daughter up and asked her if she could take me to Oak lawn Toyota. She stopped at Oak Lawn Toyota and told John she would be coming back with her mother and when we arrived John met us at the door. He was extremely nice to me. While we were there on Saturday the power went out and it wasn't expected to be back on before close of business so John said we would have to come back to finish the process on Monday. He called my daughter on Monday, just like he said he would and when we arrived back at the dealership, John was ready to service us immediately. And because my daughter bought a car for her son, herself, and now I (her mother) was buying a car (3 cars in less then a year), they put a remote starter on my car at no charge! My newly purchased car would not be able to be serviced to add the remote start until the following Monday. Rob came to my house on Sunday, picked up my car and left me a loaner car (a 2017 Toyota Camry), drove my car back to Oak Lawn Toyota on Monday, had the remote starter put on my car and drove it back to my house Monday night. I am sure he was exhausted from work, but he took the time to show me how to work the remote starter, made sure I understood and then he took the loaner car back to Oak Lawn Toyota for me...talk about OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! It doesn't get better than that. Thank you Oak Lawn Toyota for treating us like family...my grandson, my daughter and I will be forever appreciative of your kindness.

Traded my 2016 lt for 2018 LTZ Texas Edition. Love the features. The drivers seat should be softer and ride a little softer as well. I love the look of the truck and no issues so far at 5,000 miles. My 16 leaf springs started to clunk after a couple years and a TSB was issued, I hope the fixed it on the 18! Test drove Ford and Dodge and kept coming back to Chevy for price and look!

Got the Silverado 1500 with 5.3 motor. It’s comfortable and The ride quality is exceptional. Only complaint is it definitely is a little sluggish and lacks power. Same with the 6.2 motor. Unfortunately GM just can’t compete with the Hemi when it comes to power and torque. Throttle isn’t very responsive. Other than that, I love the truck.

I just purchased a vehicle at Phillips Chevrolet 9700 West Lincoln Highway Frankfort, IL 60423 with Konrad Chatys on Saturday, 2/18/2017. Konrad and his team were nothing short of amazing from the moment I arrived into the dealership. I came by myself, very nervous, anxious and discouraged. I had just left Car Max where I was told that I would have to give them thousands of dollars for them to give me any service. Keep in my mind, I am driving 35/40 miles a day to work and was putting more money into my car on major maintenance (plus monthly payments), than enjoying my 2 yr old Nissan. I have told every single person who will listen, to go schedule an appointment with Konrad. I have never felt more safe and protected with a company, than I do with Phillips Chevrolet. They gave me advise on ways to increase my credit score and even other opportunities that will be available at a later date. Everyone greeted me with a smile and was willing to assist at any moment (regardless of the fast pace environment). As if that was not enough, I even received a call the next day to inform me that I left my reading glasses in my old car, AND they stayed after the closing time to accommodate for my crazy hospital shift! It's rare for a woman alone, to come somewhere and not feel taken advantage of, and for that I could never thank them enough. I cannot actually give a review on repairs, but with the warranty and customer service, I do not have a doubt that they will be able to point me in the right direction. The only thing that I was bummed about was my car window sticker. I did not think to ask for it, but I have received a ticket on my car because of it. So when you are trading your car be sure to take EVERYTHING lbs. BTW- I am not a robot,nor was I payed to do this survey (haha). I am just extremely impressed. THANK-YOU GUYS AGAIN!!!
