2015 Chevrolet Sonic consumer reviews

I bought the cheapest car on the lot at Enterprise. The best car I could ever have!!!!! People are so jealous!!! They wish they had found it first!!

My 2015 has had multiple problems from the first couple months that I owned it -- the driver information panel failed, the ABS locked my brakes instead of stopping the car, there was a leak through the roof gutters, the entire gasket fell off the driver side door, etc. Now the car is at the dealer because first the radio went blank and then a electrical failure that drains AAAs battery charger in an instant so they can't start the car. Any other dealer would have said that this car is not a good example of our product and exchanged it for another car but not this one. Instead I got what I was told was an extended bumper to bumper warranty from Chevrolet Customer Service which the dealer is now saying isn't a warranty so they are refusing to give me a loaner. Oh, and the paint is peeling off. The car was clearly a lemon and I would have gladly taken a replacement Sonic but could not persuade the dealer of the value of such a transaction so now it's on to my state's Consumer Protection office.

Amazing on gas. Amazing handle. Love the back up cam. Roomy. Great for parking. I really like this car more than I thought I was going to. This is a great commuter car.

Bought a 2015 RS hatchback with a manual transmission as my first new car and I'm glad I did. Perfect car to learn how to drive stick in. Was super comfortable until I modified the suspension and exhaust then it was still fine as a daily driver just not as a road trip car. After a small amount of mods this little thing could easily keep up with a Fiesta ST and look better doing it

Extremely reliable, my only issue with it is it can be small. The front has plenty of room but at the cost of leg room in the back seat. Great starter for a new driver/college kid. Great gas mileage and drives nicely. I'll be sad to see it go once I get a new car.

This is the worst car I have ever owned. Nothing but mechanical issues since purchase. It is always in the shop and definitely not a reliable car and a lot of money on repairs and extended warranties. Crappy and very poorly made. Huge mistake buying this car and I will go foreign next time.

This car is very reliable with ZERO mechanical issues. This car has very low miles and is very dependable. Four cylinder with automatic transmission. A/C is very cold!

Biggest piece of junk of I ever owned !! Made with a bunch of plastic engine parts that should of never been plastic!! They obviously figured this out because replacment parts are made of metal as they should of been originally!! I had problems with mine before my 36,000 mile warranty was up and they have continued and got more costly.😡 Ive been a Chevy lady all my life til this. 😡😡

This car has met my needs. I absolutely love it. Low maintenance good gas mileage. Comfortable on long trips. Has all the bells and whistles I was looking for.

This car is falling apart now that it has surpassed 75000 miles. Electronics are having to be replaced and repaired. When hitting bumps, dummy lights come on and there is not anything wrong.
