New 16 Spark with 4000 miles. Pleased overall. For the price you will get a new four door hatch that is smooth and quiet in this price bracket. I'm happy they make this car available in US.

Awesome Spark!

The new 2016 Chevy Spark is an awesome car for the money. You must test drive one if you are in the market for an affordable car. While driving, it feels like a much larger car than it actually is. I love the seating position, as well, sitting up nice and high and easy to see out. I purchased the 2016 Spark to replace a 2014 that I also liked very well, but the 2016 redesign is leaps and bounds better in quality and value. The Spark has great fit and finish on the interior and the powertrain works very seamlessly. I have the CVT transmission, and it works better than any Nissan CVT I have ever driven. It has imitated shift points to feel sportier when you drive more aggressively. Engine noise is low compared to other small cars I have driven. I am AVERAGING over 42 mpg for the life of the car, so far, and I do drive in the city regularly not just highway! I have never spent this little on a new car and been so very pleased. The 2016 Spark was an awesome purchase for my needs! I plan to keep this car for a long time.

Happy I heard about the Chevy Spark

This is a great compact car, with a better price tag. Its stylish..looks good inside & out. Great gas mileage. Drives & shifts very smoothly. Like the On Star feature. Also the rear view camera for reversing, the numerous air bags, many cup holders, the touch screen for radio, phone, pics, etc, the info screen for your miles driven, usage of oil, when fuel is low, etc, USB port & many more features. Was looking for something to replace my Geo Metro & this was the perfect choice for me. Am looking forward to driving my new girl for a long time. The only thing that I would of liked the Chevy Spark to have, would of been more cargo space.

Surprised with the new redesign

Noticed the one review written in June of 2015 was likely for the 2015 model and not the new 2016. That being said. 2016 Spark LS CVT Just purchased this new revamped version of the Spark. At first glance I do like the new headlight redesign being smaller than previous models and also the roof height is noticeably lower. Which does give it a more proportioned appearance. After driving it for a few days the new 1.4 l engine is a nice and needed upgrade over the previous models. Has better acceleration and does get down the road at freeway speed quite well. Road noise is not an issue with me as it is pretty quiet at highway speeds and no squeaks or rattles, yet. A tight car that handles ok with good steering response and road feel. Only complaint would be that the brakes engage a little farther down on the pedal than what I'm used to, but it's not something that I have a real issue with. The new standard equipment is nice with a/c, the center display touch screen for radio, bluetooth etc was something you only got with the 1lt upgrade on previous models. Bottom line seems to be a nice car that I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the seats, the room and ride quality for a such a little car. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. Getting better than the advertised MPG and averaging 35 plus mpg and it;s not even broken in yet.

I didn't know they still made bad cars

I had this car for a week as a rental and I HATED it. I couldn't find anything that I liked about it. Keep in mind that my daily drive is a Ford Focus, so I'm used to a small car. This car was useless and wouldn't go toe to toe with my 72 VW Beetle. Let's see: trunk space behind rear seats barely fits two carry-on size cases. But rear seats don't fold down flat, so how are you supposed to put in a full sized suitcase? Speedometer and dash gauges are in a cluster right behind the steering wheel in a desperate move to save pennies. I didn't see a temperature gauge. Maybe I missed it, but I would think that would be an important feature. Seats are uncomfortable and I couldn't find an adequate adjustment for my frame, which admittedly is 6' 2", but again, my first car was a VW bug. Radio controls were not intuitive; but I could just be dumb. Notice that I haven't even started the car yet. Now I try to back up: there is a big rear column obstructing the view. What is with the engineering on this car? Shift into drive: don't hold your breath for the 0-60. You might reach that age before you reach the speed. But it's small so I'll get good mileage, right? Not much different than my Focus, which is a much bigger car. Why did GM even bother to make this car? It is easy to fit into a parking space. There, I found something nice to say.
