2019 Chevrolet Spark consumer reviews

Owned since last September. Mostly driven on short runs around town. On a whim drove from Portland to Monterey and back, about 800 miles each way. Two days down, two days back. Car ran like a race horse and delivered great gas mileage. I have a manual transmission which made it a fun drive through the mountains and allows you to get the best performance from the engine. The 16 valve twin cam in this car is a really sweet smooth little engine! Ran all day at 65 to 70mph with a few stretches at 75 no problem. Going up and over the mountain passes requires some shifting to stay in the power band but it always had plenty of push as long as I kept it above 3200 RPM which it is totally happy to run at. Average mpg was 42+. Seats are FANTASTIC for a long trip. Firm and supportive with good adjustments. Base model cloth seats in mine. Never uncomfortable even after an 8 hour day. Buy this car! Get a manual transmission and enjoy a really fun little car with the right stuff to go the distance when called on.

I like my 2019 Chevy spark LS but it's 2019 and it has crank windows and no actual key fob on the key . The radio is terrible ! I traded my 2010 Dodge caravan sxt that was fully loaded to this with crank windows and no key fob . And the radio is horrible sounding ! Other then those 3 things I love it . I want these things fixed on my car . I can't deal with it that's how bad it is .

Love this car so much we have bought 3 as family commuter cars. This car handles perfectly in the city but holds its own on the highway with no problem. The car looks stylish and interior is great especially the Apple /android car play with touch screen infotainment center.

I went in to james Chevrolet of johnstown knowing the car i wanted, the price i wanted to pay and in 2 hours left with my brand new 2019 chevy spark! Never owned a brand new car or a chevy but I'm 100% satisfied

The car is excellent on fuel mileage drives good, but has a serious problem with the transmission, when coming up to a traffic light if the light turns green and the traffic starts moving the transmission hangs between gears and then slams into the lower gear before it go

The car looks sharp from the headlights to the curvy side paneling. It’s so small I can actually hug the car. I did not expect it to be roomy and comfy but it is. I’m 5’7 and hefty. I don’t know how Chevy did it but I fit good plenty of leg room and seat room. A nice driver arm rest. Wouldn’t mind a passenger rest. The interior plastic is textured makes it look sharp. A lot of storage space and cup holders. I love the extra shelf above the glove box. There is a back up cam the dash panel looks sharp. Great little commuter car or around town. I can park it anywhere. It handles amazing it’s very smooth. I use it for my driving school I get so many compliments on the car. Very reliable. No issues and I’m at 60,000 miles. The car gets driven 7 days a week, it takes a beating and keeps on driving. The gas last 12 hours a day of non stop driving. I just bought another 2019 from my Chevy Salinas. The colors are so cute my daughter is saving for her own Spark. I love this car.

THIS IS A REALLY NICE SUB-COMPACT CAR WITH NICE SAFETY FEATURES AND ATTRACTIVE STYLE. IT IS JUST THE RIGHT SIZE FOR SOMEONE WHO ONLY DRIVES AROUND TOWN FOR LOCAL COMMUTING AND NEEDS RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.

I am more than thrilled with my Spark LS. It is really awesome to drive and parking is a thrill. After 5400 miles it is averaging 40 MPG and no problems at all. Going for my first oil change in the morning. This car is very comfortable to drive and the take-off power is amazing. Its a pocket-rocket.

I HATE HATE HATE the cvt , not a smooth ride at all , it pulls at times . its like driving a standard for the first time

This car is perfect for someone younger, like college students who haven’t started a family yet. There is plenty of room for a few people to go road trips and the gas mileage is amazing. Having WiFi in the car is surprisingly helpful, it also has an onstar option. Definitely a unique car with great features for someone who enjoys technology.
