2017 Chevrolet SS consumer reviews

This car is exactly what I was looking for. A rear wheel drive, naturally aspirated, V-8, sport sedan. An updated E-39, similar performing vehicle. It handles well and sounds amazing!

I loved it besides hardly able to find one that is a 6 speed. Other then that I really loved the experience to drive one. Unfortunately it was only an automatic.

Best car I have ever owned. Fast, comfortable for up to five. luxurious. Economical. I love this car. Wish I had bought one years ago.

Limited production hard to find/ worth the effort when you find the one. I live in AZ so BLACK is not even a choice LOL

Exceeded all my needs. Had features I never knew about. Now know what ?HUD? is. Extremely fast and agile. I have strangers following me home to ask questions about the car

I test drove this vehicle and it certainly appears as a sleeper car. It packs a lot of power given how it doesn't look like it should at all. I was extremely comfortable even in sport mode. The dual exhaust system is beautiful and the exhaust note when it opens up is bliss. In my opinion, second hand costs are really high considering how much the first owners paid for them.

This a vehicle that takes me back to the "Sixties" and "Seventies". Those were the days of factory built "Hot-Rods" that were "Ready-for-the-Track" "Time Trials". Big block V8s were the norm and "Gas Milage" didn't even enter the picture. It was racing for pink slips orjust basic bragging rights. Ah....The good old days. Boy were they cheaper!!.

Buy one! This is the last year that Holden is making this vehicle. Collect a Classic Sedan that will blow the doors of of a BMW. Snooze and Lose. Adios

Wanted an SS for a few years now, They kept making improvements year by year, and this final year I had to make a move or lose out. I am so glad I did. Once upon a time I used to be a rabid car guy. Then marriage, kids, grandkids, etc. You know the drill. Too many SUV's, mini vans, etc. Had a hard time getting one. They kept disappearing from cars.com. and every other site. One local dealer (ST.Louis area) gave me the biggest run around I have ever seen. Long story short, I drove over 3 hours to get the last one available in Illinois. I am really liking this car. It is stealthy, and fantastically fast. The best road handling I have ever experienced. So happy with this SS I can't begin to tell you.

I was fortunate enough to buy one of these during 20% off and got one of the last manual transmission versions. There is no comparable vehicle to this currently. I look forward to driving this car every day. It's so capable, so competent, so powerful, and so understated. While it gets panned by the car mags for being too boring visually, there are just enough visual keys to express that this isn't your run of the mill malibu. What's not to like: 415 hp V8, manual transmission, rear drive, family sedan, all for reasonable money. If you haven't bought one, you may have missed your chance, but this is an awesome ride!
