Amazing vehicle
I was fortunate enough to buy one of these during 20% off and got one of the last manual transmission versions. There is no comparable vehicle to this currently. I look forward to driving this car every day. It's so capable, so competent, so powerful, and so understated. While it gets panned by the car mags for being too boring visually, there are just enough visual keys to express that this isn't your run of the mill malibu. What's not to like: 415 hp V8, manual transmission, rear drive, family sedan, all for reasonable money. If you haven't bought one, you may have missed your chance, but this is an awesome ride!

Wanted this for a long time.
People come up to me because they know what it is but you do not see them. I love the exhaust. Parking valets smile when they get out. My car is green which blows my friends away who think it is black. I have the manual and I love it.

Still new, 749 miles
The car is one I've had on my radar for 3-4 years now. Finally priced where I'll make the end of cycle purchase, GM stocks parts for 10 years, hope that will work as my last end of cycle purchase is now 17 years old, parts still available. Engine and transmission rwd are excellent in test drives and so far in first 2 weeks, suspension is excellent thus far. Plan on putting fresh rubber on come spring to maximize traction, OEM tires will run Nov - Mar, new tires Apr - Oct, this combo usually lasts 4-5 years with previous sedans. Look forward to more time on the road to learn more of what she can do, updates if possible.

The best 4dr sedan ever built
Its like owning a sports car with 4 doors tons of interior space and so comfortable. It has the same performance as a Camaro Corvette mustang or any other sport car with comfort. Im a previous owner of a 2014 Chevrolet SS and drove it 3 years without one regret. I own a Camaro, 2 generations of Trans ams, and a Shelby Mustang. Ive rented new Camaro SS and a new Stingray Corvette last week. They don't hold a candle to the Chevrolet SS. I guess the most impressive thing is the traction control it works better than any car ive driven the wheels don't lose grip at all

Bad a55 car!
This car is one of a kind. If you can still find one, get it. I was going to get a Jag but paying 75K didn't seem justified in my book. I have a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT as well and this is a pleasant upgrade. Same kind of car, Australian made. Handling is great, looks are very nice. I like everything about the car. The only thing i would say is my Pontiac has more comfortable seats. But these are nice too.

2017 Chevrolet SS
Just purchased a new 2017 Chevrolet SS. It's comfortable, roomy and for a four door sedan, powerful. Traded in a Corvette because we needed more room for the grand kids. The SS has a lot of "bang for the buck" and came loaded with every option we wanted. It was built by Holden for Chevrolet, in Australia. Production has ended so if you want one, better grab it quick.

His and hers
Bought a 2016. My wife's car. Loved it but she wouldn't let me drive it SO.....I bought myself a 2017 And now we're both happy. I'm over70 and loved the 60's Chevelle SS GTO and Mustang HiPo BUTMAKENO MISTAKE. THIS IS THEGOLDEN AGE OF AUTOS and the SS sedan is one badass sleeper. All around comfort, safety and wonderful performance.

Old Guys pay attention
The Chevy SS with a manual trans is my new retirement sports car. I have found this to be a satisfying car. Shifts and drives great and is easy to get in and out of. This car is fun and anonymous in traffic. Old school and the last of it's kind are phrases that come to mind. One last thing; put your boot to it, and put your boot to it ect.
