Our 4th Suburban

I love the suburban for what it is, a large vehicle with room for my family and all of our cargo. I have had an 88, 98, and 05 suburban. Also an 03 yukon xl. The 2007 is probably the nicest one we've owned as far as comfort and accessories. It has been very reliable as we have 160.00 miles on it with no big problems. My only complaint is it is way under powered compared to the above mentioned SUVs I have had. When it is time to trade I will most definetly be looking at the yukon xl or escalade for the 6.2 L engine.

Good SUV for family

Bought a 2007 Suburban new and drove for 10 years before trading in. Engine began drinking oil within last two years (175k miles) and dealer would never acknowledge problem. Would go through a quart every 3000 miles (20% burning) but never had leaks or smoke problems. From what I found online it is normal for model. Became a stiff ride that would jar driver on rough road but overall a decent vehicle to own.

Wish we never traded it in!

Best vehicle our family has ever owned very reliable never had any issues drove it till it had 100,000 miles and it was still going when we traded it in I miss that thing everyday if you want a vehicle that's going to go ahead and transport a lot of people while towing a boat or something like that then the Suburban is definitely the right vehicle for you.

Reliable and comfy!

I have had a 2007 suburban since 2007. The truck is awesome. Now, I dont have 49 kids going to soccer practice and I know what a maintenance schedule is. So, my truck is in great shape. All regular maintenance taken care of, kept in a garage and I am at 310,238 miles. I did have to replace the torque converter at 191,00 miles or so. And a water pump at 170k miles. That being said, she's been incredible! I have three other vehicles one BMW one mini and one Challenger and. I can honestly say the suburban has been the most reliable and required the least maintenance over a life if about three times as long as the other vehicles. Love it. Do it. Buy one. You won't regret it :)

Great family car

It is awesome on trips. Plenty of room for everyone and everything. Drives great and rides great. Gas mileage is surprisingly good for a full size vehicle.

Style with Comfort in a Full-Size SUV

Bought this 2007 Chevy Suburban after doing lengthy research and going to see a few on various local lots. I had formerly owned a 1992 GMC version, now labeled the Yukon XL and initially was only interested in a more recent model of those. However, many on the market now are the Denali version, which much like its cousin the Escalade ESV, does not offer all the 4 wheel drive options e.g. low range, which is essential for off-roading conditions like sand. The models that did were few and far between. When I turned my search to Suburbans, they almost all were equipped this way, with comparable or even somewhat lower prices and much better availability. I purchased an LT version with the standard leather seats, 3rd row seating, and all the normal comfort features. Since this is a 2007 model, it does not have all the new techno bells and whistles like blue tooth, back up camera, or built in GPS. It is, however, a very comfortable ride, glides down the road at highway speeds with its V-8, long wheelbase and big tires, and handles much better than one might expect of a vehicle of this size with responsive power steering and solid SUV suspension. Of course, it does not have the pick up or nimbleness of a European sports coupe, and one should not attempt to drive it that way, but if you want a reliable, comfortable, safe ride to get from point A to point B with all your gear in whatever weather, this might be the vehicle for you, especially if your day to day driving is not a long commute. This vintage also has very nice lines, stance and visibility, better than the latest version at least to my eye, and in darker colors especially, again to my eye, will get you favorable notice around town and wherever you go. I purchased this vehicle from Sports and Imports in Pasadena MD. They are locally owned, have been around a good long time, and made my buying experience as pleasant as possible. I got very fair market value on my trade, and the price of the vehicle was also very fair. I would recommend anyone in the area in the market for a newer pickup or SUV to give their inventory a good look .

Nice car for value

Let me start by saying I was pleasantly pleased with the customer service I received at this dealership. I have been searching for a new used Suburban for my wife for a while now and a clean model is not as easy to find as one would think. I looked at several ranging in years between 2006 to 2012 models and although some were stocked with much more features than this one that I finally decided to purchase they all had something wrong with them from poor paint and body to foul pet odors inside the vehicles. This dealership appeared to take more pride in the vehicles on their lot as far as detailing them inside and out. so for that I give them a thumbs up. And they have a three year 3000 mile warranty that comes with the purchase of the vehicle which most dealerships do not offer. They pay for it not you. So if your looking for a good quality vehicle i would suggest you give them a shot. :-)

I love my Suburban

I love my Suburban and don't listen to the critics this is a nice SUV. I would recommend the Suburban to anyone looking for a family size SUV and its not as bad on gas as everyone claims it is. My Suburban do not burn any more gas than any other SUV. I don't know perhaps I was lucky and got the unique Suburban. Anyway I love it! :-)
