failure

Bought my 2007 new and within 1,500 miles had to replace the radiator cooling fan because of a bearing failure. Dealer could not believe this failure and said this was a first. At 19,000 miles a bearing failure caused my transmission to fail. I do not drive this SUV off road. I drive this to work and back with a total of 26 miles a day. I have taken (2) trips and now I would be afraid going out of town. I will be trading this joke in very soon. I will not buy GM again. Oh and again (Dealer could not believe this failure and said this was a first). Same statement Following a transmission replacement.

most comfortable and dependable SUV I've owned

My wife and I love our Tahoe, the only thing we will do is trade it in on a new one late next year. The exterior styling is perfect. We use the vehicle to entertain business clients as well as weekend trips with the family. Getting rid of my Lexus for the Tahoe was one of the best vehicle decisions we have made.

Smooth and Stylish Ride

I have always wanted a Tahoe and was glad I waited until the 07's style came to buy one. I bought the LT model used with 20" rims (factory) I can't say enough about this SUV. I have 3 boys (11, 10, 4) and they ride comfortably in the back. The third row was disappointing cause it is not comfortable at all and my 3rd row has captains seats that always stay folded up to carry stuff. If you need to take the rear seats out they are very heavy and awkward. But overall I love it and would rather have it than a minivan or Ford or Toyota. It has the best look. (besides the Escalade which is a glorified Tahoe). The steering is better than any car I have ever owned! I park where cars can't get into!! I get 17-18mpg and I drive 20mi to work everyday. 1/2 is city and 1/2 is hwy. I set the cruise as much as possible and when in the city I try and stay off the gas to engage the V4 mode. I spend about $70 a week right now w/gas at $2.60 (Tampa area) and I drive A LOT. Love this vehicle! Buy one used though, I paid $27k w/18k miles on it and new it was over $35k. Funny thing was I got it from a Ford dealer.

tahoe excellent..even for high-schooler

my mom bought me an '07 tahoe for christmas last year. it was the best christmas present i have ever gotten! it has alot of room..great for alot of passengers. i recieved the "LTZ" model, it has everything a teenager can imagine! i recently purchased cutsom rims for it and i thought that in the snow, it would effect the handling, but i was wrong! i think this is one fo the best SUV's ever made. i plan to keep it all through, and after college.

Not very satisfied

In general this car is very comfortable however if you need to use the third row seat for any body over the age of 6 I would not reccomend it! there is no leg room at all! my 10 year old wont even sit back there he says it feels as though his feet are up on a stool! very uncomfortable! In addition this vehicle's running boards are very narrow and if your not paying ample attention you can very easily slip getting out of the car!

Tahoe LTZ

There is absolutely no disappointment to be found with the new Chevy Tahoe LTZ. Mine is equipped with the 5.3-liter V8, Navigation with rear camera, rear entertainment system/DVD player, power running boards, liftgate, seats, et cetera. The ride is smooth and manageable; much more like a car than a full-size SUV. While gas mileage could always be better on any car, for it's size 15MPG city isn't bad, and the highway mileage, thanks to the 4/8 cylinder combo, is great. The engine is slightly less responsive than my previous Tahoe, a 2001 LT, not really sure why, but everything else makes up for it. Definitely one of the best SUV's out there, even if gas is $5.00 a gallon...

Car Is An OK Car

got a 07 tahoe Ls.. alot of interior problem and it is all im having and it seems to be happening only to LS models weird? i think.. a/c doesnt blow cold rather leave window open but performance wise it is terrific gas is amazing getting 14-15's on city and 20's on highway with the 4 cylinder mode thanks chevy... we have side molding problems, peeling radio and a peeling sterring wheel wrap. for us dealer is easy to handle as we have a frend who works there that drives our car and fixes it for us. no problems with motor and we had it for about 6 month.. great car though love it

greatest SUV I have owned

I Bought an 07 Tahoe LT last september and it has been a joy to drive. i have not experienced any problems with the car at all. Unlike these other posts, i didnt seem to find anything wrong with the car engine wise. its pretty lively and responsive. its also very comfortable and pretty agile for its size. Overall i believe that this is a truly refined vehicle and i wouldnt think of changing it otherwise. ( Except for the LTZ ofcoarse, the wife wanted red;dealer only had it in LT).
